Over 600 plus fans jam packed the Golden Door Charter School as JAPW returned to Hudson County in full-force after 5 long years last night in Jersey City, NJ.
1. Wrestling Idol Contract Match, Winner would become part of JAPW Full time. Pinky Sanchez & Cooter wrestled for about 10 seconds before "The Heavy Hitter" Mac & Havoc destroyed both of them, neither was signed.
2. Bandido Jr upset Azireal.
3. Jay Lethal defeated Chris Hero.
4. Xavier defeated Sonjay Dutt.
5. Monsta Mack & Havoc beat Slyk Wagner Brown & DJ Hyde when Archadia give Hyde a handful of hundred dollar bills to walk out on the match.
6. Danny Demanto defeated Devon Storm in a rematch from last year. Crowd was 50/50 behind both superstars.
7. NJ State Champion Archadia w/ Johnny D and Alex Thatcher defeated Grim Reefer to keep the NJ Title after Archadia's new "BODY GUARD" DJ Hyde ran in to lay out Reefer.
8. Cryme Tyme defeated Style & Finesse in Tag Team Action.
9. World Champion Low Ki defeated Hernadez, match saw the Champ pull off a KI KRUSHER follwed by a Ghetto Stomp as 95% of the crowd counted 1-2-3- as the ref's hands hit the match for the victory!
10. In a match the was just insane! Teddy Hart defeated Homicide and Eddie Kingston in a 3 Way NO DQ NJ Street Fight after Hart pinned Kingston. Teddy Hart moonsaulted of bleachers, pull-up bars and everything else nailed down!
SHOW NOTES: The live feedback from fans following the show was tremendous as Fat Frank was taking resovations for the return show there on March 8th! Lots and Lots of local new fans from the area, hope they attend Rahway events.
World Champion Low Ki was rushed to the hospital after being attacked after the show, more info to be announced as we receive it.
The Look in Teddy Hart's eyes was priceless as a fan handed Homicide a singapore Cane which the 187 was more then happy to use!
Parking was not as bad as JAPW management had predicted due to on the street parking and many fans took the option of parking in the Newport Mall.
The D Factor is in full force of NJ State Champion Archadia, Bodyguard HYDE, The Heavy Hitters and Alex Thatcher has replaced Alicia with the full support of the crowd that night!
JAPW allowed a few different Indy's to hand out flyers during the event last night including shows as far away as Seaside Height's, NJ.

The main event was indeed a very insane match. Spots I remember from the match were as mentioned Teddy Hart's moonsault off the bleachers and pull up bars. Homicide giving Teddy Hart a piledriver in the bleachers. Teddy Hart & Eddie Kingston putting the chairs down for a bar fight but instead of using their Kingston hit Hart with a kendo stick in the head followed by Hart doing the same and Kingston following up with a clothesline that took Hart's head off while he was still on the chairs. Teddy hitting a powerbomb lungblower on Kingston. There was also a huge chair fight which I almost knocked the God damn lights down!

Outside of the last two matches nothing else sounds any good to me.

Outside of the last two matches nothing else sounds any good to me. That's how it works with JAPW. They have a lack of quality wrestling on their roster so they usually leave the better matches for the end. That's why none of the shows are worth going out of your way to see. A great show needs a card up and down worth checking out. Back in the day you had Homicide, Ki, Da Hit Squad, The Briscoes, Jay Lethal, Azrieal, ECW guys, Dixie, Insane Dragon(Izzy), and a loaded card of great matches. Now it's limited to the last two matches or so where there is a chance for something decent.

This show was pretty stacked as well, the only thing that hurt it was there was three rematches but it's not like that doesn't happen at ROH either. Just look at Glory By Honor VI Night 2, might have been a great show but you had 4 rematches on it. This show was the same way. The main event, Ki/Hernandez, Lethal/Hero & Azrieal/Bandido were all VERY good matches. Xavier/Sonjay, Archadia/Reefer & Storm/Demanto were all good matches but were my least favorite of their encounters. Storm/Demanto had a better match at the 10th Anniversary Show as did Archadia/Reefer & Xavier/Sonjay had a better match at Seasons Beatings. They weren't at all bad though. JAPW has one of the most stacked rosters since 2004. You have Low Ki, Homicide, Hernandez, Teddy Hart, Eddie Kingston, Chris Hero, Frankie Kazarian, Jay Lethal, Azrieal, Kenny Omega, Devon Storm, Sonjay Dutt, Xavier, Grim Reefer, Archadia, Danny Demanto, Mack & Havoc, Bandido Jr & DJ Hyde. Plus you always have at least one appearance per show sometimes more by a semi regular like AJ Styles, Human Tornado, Rhino, Necro Butcher, Samoa Joe, Drake Younger, M-Dogg 20, Delirious, Ruckus, Sabian, Joker etc.

Low Ki's title reign is really getting boring. He's just beating the entire roster. I'd imagine that he will be fighting Teddy Hart soon since Hart didn't actually lose the belt. I haven't been to a JAPW event since July because of college.

On paper it doesn't sound like much but Bandido Vs. Azrieal was actually a great a match and Bandido scoring the pin on one of JAPW's bigger stars surprised me a lot. Another match was Demanto Vs. Storm. I looked at this the first time as being nothing but your average match but they got hardcore and turned the match into a fight for the win instead of just a wrestling match.

I haven't been to a JAPW event since July because of college. That is how you build up a champion. Low Ki has had the best title matches in a long time. Even better than the Dan Maff reign. I don't care if Low Ki has the title for another year, I'm loving his run and that is exactly what JAPW needs. Everyone complained about not having much meaning and needing someone to bring back the prestige. Low Ki has done that with title matches against Homicide, Hernandez, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles & Necro Butcher. I'm sure matches with Teddy Hart, Eddie Kingston & Frankie Kazarian are on the way soon as well.

The belt had meaning, it's just that JAPW kept getting ed over. I have always found Low Ki boring. The only reason why his title matches aren't boring is because he keeps fighting top guys. Hopefully Hart or Kazarian takes the belt from him. I really enjoyed Kazarian's light heavyweight/NJ state title reign, and would love to see him get a crack at the world title, and possibly win it.

Kazarian has been pushed very hard since returning to JAPW and I expect big things from him. Since his return he has tore the house down in matches with Chris Hero, AJ Styles & Devon Storm(much better than you would expect it to be).

Yeah I'm sort of pissed that I'm missing some of these matches from Kazarian, but haven't been able to go. I'm starting to wonder if Hero will be done with JAPW. Honestly, besides when he pinned Davey Richards (who should come back) in the gauntlet and beating Hydro, has he even won a match?

Just look at Glory By Honor VI Night 2, might have been a great show but you had 4 rematches on it. This show was the same way. I didn't think GBH VI Night 2 was all that great. I wasn't there but there is nothing original on that card other then the 3 way main event. When was the last original concept JAPW came up with that worked? JAPW has one of the most stacked rosters since 2004. You have Low Ki, Homicide, Hernandez, Teddy Hart, Eddie Kingston, Chris Hero, Frankie Kazarian, Jay Lethal, Azrieal, Kenny Omega, Devon Storm, Sonjay Dutt, Xavier, Grim Reefer, Archadia, Danny Demanto, Mack & Havoc, Bandido Jr & DJ Hyde. It's one thing to include Ki-Lethal on that list. It's a far different argument when you have to resort to using garbage like Demanto and DJ Hyde to try and pad your argument. Eh, you can see those guys elsewhere and as much as I love Joe he doesn't do much of anything because of how fed up he is with everything at TNA.

I don't think Hero is done I just think that JAPW hasn't had anything for him because he's a ROH regular. That's my only problem with Hero in JAPW. He always has a great outing(ussually better than his ROH matches) but never wins. Hopefully Hero gets a win at the next show if he's on it because I know Frank is high on his work.

I didn't think it was an amazing show but it was still a good show and that's all I billed this JAPW show as. A good show because there was 4 VERY good matches and some average matches. It wasn't as good as the last two shows but it was still a great show. Your not gonna have an amazing show everytime.
Ki/Hernandez might have been done in IWA-MS but Ki/Hernandez was built up much better rather than IWA-MS just throwing together a dream match for the sake of doing it. This was built up for 4 long matches and I still don't think it's done. Plus the match told a great story. Lethal/Hero I don't remember ever happening anywhere. Azrieal/Bandido same thing, Bandido has some a long way from his La Familia days. The guy is one of the best light heavyweights out there and has the underdog upset role going for him. Xavier/Dutt, Archadia/Reefer & Demanto/Storm hasn't been done anywhere else either so I don't know what isn't "original" on the show. I mean so what if Ki/Hernandez happened in IWA-MS first? Hero/Claudio happened in Chikara many times before it happened in ROH.
I was throwing in anyone who is a regular for the company. I know you don't like Demanto but he's one of the most over guys on the roster and always has a good outing. He's come a long way over the last few months. His match with Devon Storm at the Anniversary Show and his match with Kenny Omega at Calm Before The Storm was very good.
Samoa Joe doesn't do much, you're right but he hasn't been booked and I doubt he will be. We got a few outings from him and thats all we needed. As much as I like Samoa Joe out of my list I will agree he's the least favorite I would like to see. AJ Styles is fun to see on the indys because you aren't gonna see matches like AJ Styles vs Chris Hero in TNA. Human Tornado is always entertaining no matter what he's doing and there is plenty of good matches he can have in JAPW. Ruckus, Sabian & Joker all had great outings at the 10th Anniversary Show and I really hope there is more of them in JAPW.

I don't think Hero has ever faced Lethal before has he? Either way, that was a great match last night. The whole show was a lot of fun.
