If so, which game, and for what system? I'm getting NHL 08 for PS2. At least there is a little dignity left in the PS2 version because they are going to include the actual skill stick in it this year.
I personally usually think that 2K has more content, but the actual EA gameplay is better.

NHL08 for me, baby!
I was disappointed with 2K7 last year, and felt that 07 was DA BOMB! Well, on the 360 indeed. :-D

I'll definitely buy one, but I'm not blind-buying EA's this year. I'm trying them both first.
EA's last year was overrated as hell because of the skill stick. Sure, the stick kicks ass, but the game was overall disappointing.

Everyone should get 08, especially from ratings. For XBOX 360, 1up.com gave NHL 08 a 9.7, while it gave NHL 2K8 a 4.0. IGN also gave NHL 08 an 8.9, while it hasn't rated NHL 2K8 yet.
I personally only have a PS2, but after getting NHL 2K6 and NHL 07, I think I am going to stick with EA as it looks like they can finally get one sport right.

After researching all week I have chosen NHL 08 on 360 as my hockey game this year. Sounds like the 360 version has a bit better graphics and gameplay than the PS3 version and 2K8 has been getting trashed all over the internet.
