seriously lock because i made a crack at indy wrestlers? sorry i'm not in your ****** indy circle and i don't worship CM Punk. i just wanted a thread to discuss Japanese wrestling without Indy kids in it. jesus. so please leave this open so hopefully i can discuss Puro with other people.

I just recently got into Japan wrestling over the past year or so. I'm trying to follow it as best as I can. I have a little Noah collection, but as of now I'm really into BJW.

I'm not afraid to admit that no I haven't seen much of any Japanese wrestling... I have a tape that I bought entitled "Why I Watch Wrestling Volume 1" with several Japanese matches on them and they are all really quite good. There is no question that it is some very good matches that go on over there. The only thing I can't grasp with Japanese wrestling is the commentary. Commentary is there to assist in the story telling of a match. However I can't understand it for shit. Given the commentators aren't as obnoxiously noticable during matches but still...
I watched the Wrestle Kingdom show and they were all really quite impressive matches... I recognized a few of the wrestlers by name and Great Muta's entrance had a very epic feel to it.
