Platinum Pro Wrestling officially kicks off the 2008 schedule on Saturday night, March 1st at Ryan's Iris Pub Michigan City ,IN. With a bell time at 7:00 doors open at 6:30
At are last show "Nothing 2 Lose" PPW crowded are first PPW Heavyweight Champion , when "The King of Old School " Steve Corino took on "The Indy Wrestling Superstar" Erico in a hard fought battle . At the end of the night Mr. Corino came up with the 1-2-3 and became the first ever PPW Heavyweight Champion. Since that time Mr. Corino has retired and this has left the PPW Heavyweight Title vacant.
After delegations, The PPW Board of Directors would like to announce that on Saturday March 1 at "Live The Dream" the top Eight Platinum Pro Wrestling superstar's will square off in a "Gauntlet 4 Gold" tournament to crown the next PPW Heavyweight Champion. The following Eight have been named for the "Gauntlet 4 Gold" Tournament.

The only question is .." Who will face them for the vacant tag titles"? Thats why on March 1st at "Live The Dream" a Huge 6 team elimination match will take place.
