I just heard about this. Interesting that TNA would allow this.

CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!
I missed GTGM because I was working another show, & I was bummed I missed their tag match. I'm calling it right now, singles matches in Detroit, & then the tag rematch in Chicago.

They couldn't have given MCMG another tag team to face like Richards/Romero or Steen/Generico? Honestly... it's not like making a few sporadic appearances against the Briscoes passes for a feud worth building.

I'm glad TNA is allowing them to come back. But, no matter how good the rematch is with the Briscoes, it won't live up to the first one. I think because of it, they're appearances could be considered a disappointment.
I'd rather see them face Aries/Dragon.
With them coming back, could we see Joe and Cide back??

Straight from Gabe:
The PPV deal is not dead. There is no Samoa Joe coming. Take the announcement for what it is. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin are coming back to ROH for one weekend. There is no other underlying things to it. It is a simple deal that was put together very simply and quickly. That is all. Stop speculating and enjoy it for what it is, which is exactly what it appears to be on the surface. Shelley & Sabin are coming to Detroit and Chicago.
I guess people were thinking all the TNA guys were coming back so Gabe set them straight.

ROH would be smart to put them against Black/Jacobs & Generico/Steen. The first Briscoes/MCMG match was over hyped and overrated. You could just fast forward through the whole match until the last 5 minutes out of a 40 minute match and you will have seen everything.
Also from what I understand, TNA guys can work ROH but only in dark matches so I'm not sure if this match will even make the DVD. It might be for the live crowd only. That is what the DOI is reporting anyway. We'll see.

What is the purpose of spending money to book TNA guys if you can't sell a DVD with them on it. That would seem like a bad investment by ROH to me.

I love Sabin and Shelley as individuals, I think they look cool as a team, but i think as a team they are one of the worst and most overrated teams today. More spots than a dal ingmation

More spots than a dal ingmation Doesn't help that as a tag team, their matches, win lose or draw only last at most 8 minutes. You could tell a story, but the ending will still seem rushed.

Its the 56 kick combos that piss me off. You can tell a story in 8 minutes, just do 55 less kick combos and youll have the other 7:45 to tell a story. I dunno, theyre cool, but MCMG suck IMHO. I know no one agrees and thats cool, because they are still bad ass, just too spotty for my tag team tastes.

Doesn't look like the matches will be on the dvd according to wrestlinginc:
For those that still need clarification regarding Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin returning to Ring of Honor in April, TNA never actually banned their talent from appearing for other promotions. TNA had their talent sign an agreement that they would not appear on DVDs that were released commercially or appear on pay-per-view broadcasts distributed by other promotions. Therefore it is perfectly fine for Shelley and Sabin to work for Ring of Honor as long as their matches are not taped for a DVD or included on an ROH pay-per-view broadcast.
