When you have to give a presentation are you nervous?
For me I get really nervous. For some classes I am okay, but the kids in other classes will rip you apart.
How about ya'll.

No. Once in a world issues class I had to explain, as a midwest farmer, why I support loose immigration laws and pretty much insulted Mexicans for 20 minutes to the point that a class mate had to leave class because of how upset she was getting. I came off as a total prick, but hey, I was in character.

It depends. When I'm doing it by myself, I'm way too nervous, but when someone's doing it with me, I'm fine.

Oh man, I hated presentations. That was always the worse thing about school, I didn't mind homework, tests, getting up early, but I hated presentations. Good thing I don't have to deal with that now.

Taking a speech class in college was the hardest thing i've ever had to do. Normally in life, i don't speak two words all day, in public or not. And having to give a ten minute speech...horrible.

I have really bad public speaking issues. I've blacked out twice infront of full classes.

I cannot stand public speaking. It was especially worse in school. It's one thing reading from your seat, but standing in front of the whole class was rough.

i had to give an 8 minute presentation today at college for my final piece in my art project. to be honest this week i didn't think about it too much. i had lots of work to do. i wrote a few notes to say (it was a powerpoint) and i think it went well. there are 22 in our class and over the past three days we all had to do solo ones. i went last, but no it went good

If I have to give one in a class where I don't really no anyone I get really nervous, but a class with a bunch of my friends in it makes me a lot more comfortable.

I've always been good at giving speeches even on the fly. My sophmore year I was running for Student Council President and I was the youngest person to ever run for it. We were supposed to give our speeches on a Thursday. I was out of school that Tuesday so I never got the memo that our speeches were moved to Wednesday. So I showed up at school Wednesday and was told we had to give our final speeches in about 2 hours. I had put mine off planning to write it Wed. night. Well I got up in front of the whole school. Nothing on paper and was able to actually give the required 10 minute speech without any stopping or excessive "uhs". I got the win and held the spot for 3 years. But I still get nervous as hell in front of people.

I absolutely hate talking in front of large groups of people. It makes me nervous just to think about.

I was always the one in High School that would be designated to do it since the others in my group wouldn't. I never had a problem with it. I just recently did a presentation in front of the class for my Art class and got an A.
No big deal

I have no problem with it. I've had to do performances and colorguards for JROTC in front of thousands, and give briefings and speeches to many, so I have no problem with it. Last week I gave a briefing to our Area Coordinator (Equal of a District Manager I guess you would say), completely off the top of my head I did it, while everyone else read directly from notecards.

I sometimes get nervous with presentations but I got over it for the most part because of all the projects I have had to do and my speech class also helped.
