Parenthesis usually means a negative, so my friend are have withdrew from your account and are now subject to a fine most likely.
Or worst case scenario, you and your mother are subject to check fraud.
Checks take 2-7 days to clear, anyone with half a brain would know that.
Writing 190$ ON A PIECE OF PAPER!?! Is just asking for problems/closing of an account/fines
You my friend, need to not let your dad near any of your money from now on

Checks can take several days to clear and depending on when you deposited the money it may not even be available for several days. You're over drawn, you're gonna get tagged with fees and then you're going to be in trouble on top of that. Don't try to withdraw any money unless it shows in your balance that you have it. That's pretty much common sense. |

At my bank, and probably many more, it clearly says on the ATM that deposits cannot be immediately withdrawn..
The paranthesis mean that the account is in the negative numbers and you will likely pay a high fee for this..
