I finally got all my debts paid off and I've got a rainy day fund being funded right now. I plan on doing some investing once that happens. I'm going down today to change my income tax withholding so I won't be getting a huge refund and I want to funnel that extra money a month into a Roth IRA. It won't be close to the $5k limit, but I'll be putting extra in it from time to time throughout the year and I think I'll get close to if not right at that limit.
What I'm wondering is what some good online sites are to do this? I can't do it through a traditional broker. My dad is a broker and his investment philosophy and mine are polar opposites. We end up in knock down, drag out fights if we discuss it. I don't want to fight him over this type of thing, I'd rather just do it myself on my own. I don't think it'll be that hard to find some good investments I'm just looking for a good web based brokerage company to have the Roth with and put my money there. Any one know of a good one?

Any bank can help you set up a Roth. There are always investing companies online like Sharebuilder(Now ING Direct), E*Trade, etc....I personally use Sharebuilder-- its really simple to use and pretty reasonable commission fee's

Commission fees aren't a big deal to me. I have a buy and hold philosophy so there won't be many trades going on in my portfolio. Maybe once a year I'll sit down and re-diversifiy if necessary, but that's it.
