Hello, I have that old girl topic at the bottom of the page now and I want to try and lose some weight. Ive been playing the games DDR MAX and DDR MAX 2 and playing workout mode to the equivelent of jogging 2.25 miles a day. Is doing this beneficial to lose weight? any one else do DDR for excercise? And situps, I do 4 sets of 25 to start some abs up, and I got a beer belly. Is this enough?
Thanks,

Oh someones done it loads of times before, i don't give a toss, i'm here now and the last time i checked i can post what i like as long as it is on topic. So to answer the topic, pressups really help build muscle and also using the Rower at the gym is really top notch too, thats the main way i use to keep fit, that and the bike also you may want to google yourself a nice diet, i'm not a dietician so i'm not gonna pass on any dieting tips but rowing machine is a nice easy way to keep fit for you're upper body and for the lower part the bike, plus running. Deleted the unneccesaries.

I know it is "wise-cracking" but it is very annoying when you make useless posts that have nothing to do with the thread.

With the way things have been going thus far, I think WF could benefit from a "Health and Fitness" board, haha.

Seriously, if you want to build muscle and take off weight, buy a kettlebell and the book, "Enter the Kettlebell" by Pavel, and watch the weight just literally fall off, and muscle go right on. It's kind of hard to teach your body the technique and stances, but once you get them under your belt, you'll really see the benefits. The kettlebell works your core ridiculously well and it puts on functional muscle, not just showy muscle you'd get at the gym. It'll improve things you do in everyday life without you even targetting it.
