In Osaka, Japan, a new robot has been built to demonstrate improvements in robotic food creation and preparation techniques. The "chef" creates the Takoyaki (octopus balls) in a detailed, three-step process. First, the robot prepares the main ingredients: chopped octopus, pickled ginger and diced scallions. These are rolled into balls and placed by hand (claw) onto the grill. Finally, the robot plates the dish by individually basting and spicing each ball with all the finesse and precision of a real chef.
Combine this with a robot bartender and an ice cream vending machine that automatically doles out scoops depending on your mood, and you'll never have to lift another finger in the kitchen again, right?

Damn robits, taking all the jobs! I shall never be replaced, you hear me? NEVER! A robot may be able to make whatever recipe you program into it, but it lacks the creativity to be a proper chef.

And this is why American's will become over weight. Erm.... become overweight? What part of America do you live in that still has skinny people?

And this is why American's will become over weight. What does a Japanese robot have to do with American obesity?
