They sell cigarettes which can kill you.....but they can't sell marijuana. Makes sense of that.

There is absolutely no good reason to legalize it. That's why it should remain illegal.

If they decriminalize it, they'll have extracted all of the THC from it, added nicotine to it too, sell it, everyone will buy it thinking they'll get high, they'll get pissed, and be addicted... kinda like cigarettes right now. Plus, they'll add a sin tax to it, and tax the **** out of you for buying it. Face it, your government isn't going to let you and everyone else get high, and they won't sell it period without making a ton of money on it.
Oh, and it'll still be illegal for you to grow yourself.
EDIT: The ONLY redeeming thing to this is much cheaper paper, rope, and fuels, as it is a plant, and therefor renewable. But everyone would rather get high, than care about trying to save the environment because it's, 'fruity.'

Which, if pot is legalized, I can promise you would be added too. ...do people really think the government and tobacco companies would just say, "It's legal! WEEE! Everyone go smoke pot you can buy from just anyone that might  you up a bit, but won't kill you!"? Silly kids, that isn't how America would do it. |

Everyone who wants legal pot wants their stuff legal which is bullshit. You know full well if pot would become legal it would become beer. One beer isn't going to do anything, and one legal joint isn't going to do anything. Next thing you know, you down a carton or however the hell they would sell them legally and that's when you and your stoned buddies hop in your El Camino and plow into church bus.
