I'm turning 20 on Thursday. I'm all anxious about it for some reason. I keep thinking how weird it will be to not be a teenager, and I keep flashing back to random events in my teen years. Don't get me wrong, i'm totally excited to turn 20, i'm just feeling anxious about it for some reason.
So basically what I want to ask is, did any of you feel that way before you turned 20?

I never felt like that. The day I turned 20, I put my years as an irresponsible teenager behind me, and shifted all my focus toward my impending years as an irresponsible young adult.
20's not really one of those milestone birthdays...I mean, yeah, it's the end of your teen years, but it doesn't open up any new legal avenues like 16, 17, 18, 21, or 25 do.

I know privileges and crapstay the same, and it's not traditionally a milestone birthday, but just the fact that it's a new decade of your life.

20 you can still only buy cigs and porn. And you can vote. All countries have cigarettes and porn; not every country gives you the privilege of thinking you have a say in the political process.

I didn't feel any different when I turned 20. I did feel a tad different when I turned 21...but I don't drink so it wasn't that big of a deal either. I had people constantly trying to get me to buy liquor for them though. But I never would do it.

20 really didnt do anything for me. But then again, neither did 21. I was doing the same stuff I could do when I turned 21, so it really wasnt a big deal.
