Im in a bit of a bind.

for one semester my sophmore year, I did NOTHING in history class, except in the class. Any home work I did, studying, whatever, was done in that class..

I passed with a C-

Dude, some real advice: pay attention, do homework, and get your priorities straight. In school, between all the back slapping and throwing peoples books off their desks you just gotta do what I do: pay attention and try to understand. And if you don't understand the class's content, take some time after class to talk to your teahcers. I think I'm quite comparable to you: Im addicted to Wii and Guitar Hero, I love going on the internet on sites like myspace and here (sometimes, I tell you what) and I love watching TV, not to mention playing hockey, football, and lifting. Despite my addictions and other obligations, I still find homework time, I listen in class, and I get straight A's. Time management, thats what its all about.

Incentives are by far the worst process in the world, because you will only work as hard as you can get the goals, but after that, you go back to being a D student, or a F- student.

Frankly, I pity your dad, because he needs to kick you out the house or throw your games out the window, not reward failure. It is actually quite embarrassing that you need incentives, just to get D's and C's, I mean what are you going to do when you get into the real world? Your bosses arent going to get you Summerslam tickets for not killing someone with the fry-a-lator at McDonalds, or the gun's at Wal Mart

I mean you get a C in guitar? Why the hell did you take guitar? Please tell me you were playing the guitar beforehand and wanted to take a bird course, or you wanted to learn it, I mean if you have played the guitar before, and still are getting a C...than there is no hope.

I am not even trying to be mean, but this is really really sad and I feel bad for your future, its video games man, its not hardcore drugs. I feel bad that your dad needs to spend thousands on you, just so you can make it the next grade and do this for the rest of your life
