when i ship via the post office i make sure i keep the receipt they give me that includes the city state and zip code the package is shipped to I do as well and I provided him with that. He claims that is not proof of shipping. I don't know what he wants. Pics of me from a security tape mailing a package that's clearly labled for him??

I've had a few problems. I sold a severed head prop a few months back and the guy that got it decided not to pay. Here recently someone bid on a few of my auctions and then decided to tell me he was in Canada and planned on paying with a different currency. Luckily he mentioned this before the bidding ended and I was able to cancel his bids. But that's not too bad compared to your problems. Anyhow has anyone used ebay successfully since they're inacted their new rules, is it true about paypal holding money for a few weeks now? I ing hope not. I generally pay for shipping myself and ship immediately, I know some people wait a few days for paypal to send the money to their accound and use that shipping money, but I like to get everything taken care of. I have 7 auctions right now, although ending at different times the idea of not getting paypal on any of them for 3 weeks is astounding. I will say that I've spent under 8 dollars putting up the auctions which was nice considering I've racked up twice that with less auctions in the past.

People never seem to amaze me. I "bought" a UK IE William Regal figure from ReplicaWrestlingBelts on ebay. Well when my packaged arrived it was the DA11 Regal. I figured no big deal simple mix up and ive done business with him at least 5 times before. So i sent him 5 messages on Ebay and 1 message through is website via email. Well after 2 weeks no word so I figured im stuck with the figure i didnt want and i left him neg feedback, to me it was justified. Well after he gets the neg feedback he finally decides to email be back. He said he replied to all 5 of my emails (even though i only sent 1 email) and that i needed to "learn to use an email" Even though I properly paid for the item and made numerous attempts to contact him after the mix up he leaves me neg feed back sayin "i should learn how to use and reply to email" ....I really wish i could just file some sort of paypal dispute and get my money back and tell him to stick it You can file a PayPal dispute if they send the wrong item and refuse to send you the correct one.

Depending on how the Paypal payment is made, it can take a day or two to clear. I always always always wait for it to clear before I ship anything.

i bought a DS game a week ago and all week ive been trying to get some jerk offs bank account details, i looked at his feedback and he had a few negatives..(189/21368 feedback) so he was 99% reliable. But what i noticed is that everytime he got negative feedback, he would always respond to it. So after a week of not hearing from him today (after 3 messages) i decided to leave negative feedback stating that he had not given me his payment details. Sure enough i got a message later this afternoon with his details and a plea to remove the negative feedback. Jerkoff.

You should have tried sending the guy a screen cap or something to prove your point. If you want to really sort it out, start a dispute with ebay. Disputes over feedback can be started i believe. Dont let fools like this get away with it. I don't know what good a screen cap would do. He obviously has Internet access so it would be ridiculously easy for him to pull up the tracking number on USPS.com. If I don't hear back from him today I'm gonna look into filing a dispute. I've got feedback before that I didn't like, but I could see how it would be considered accurate from their point of view. This is blatantly false. He can't claim I didn't send it when he knows I did as he has the proof right in front of him. True true, he is probably some lazy ignorant slug that is trying to scam you. I say don't waste your time and get straight into the dispute. From previous experience, missing out on the time allowed to start the dispute can cost you. Dont waste your time and just launch the dispute because until you do I dont think anythings going to give.

Well apparently pretty soon paypal will start holding payments for up to 20 days or so. Atleast that's what I've heard.

I decided to say screw it. I left the douchebag negative feedback (his 3rd in a month) so he can go screw himself now. I responded to the feedback he left as well so I think I'm covered. The moron never even bothered to file a Paypal dispute.

yep. there are plenty of a**holes on ebay. i've been hit with "revenge" feedback a few times, when the seller severly mis-represented the item in terms of condition and authenticity, i try to resolve it by email, but they get all defensive and won't admit fault. so you leave bad feedback, and then they take revenge by leaving me bad feedback. even tho i paid promptly so i deserve good feedback. one time the guy even successfully got me an unpaid item strike, even tho i paid via paypal and informed ebay of this in several forms and emails. people can be so unfair.
trouble is, when there's problems, unless they're huge sums of money, or you get lawyers involved, ebay doesn't want to know. it'll probably never change. the system is flawed, basically.
these new feedback changes ebay is supposed to be doing seem good overall tho, and should help me, as a buyer mainly. altho if/when they'll be implemented into EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED.uk is anyone's guess...
