I've never been able to roll my R's, I think it's coz I can fold my tongue(without using my hands) in four creases so it doesn't flutter easily, does anyone have any tips on how to roll your R's because I want to learn how, to help me with speaking other languages. Thanks.

Honestly, i think this is one of those, you can do it or you cant kinda things.
Best of luck with it, but i just think there are some things some people cant control on their body (Example, not everyone can do a people's eyebrow).

Maybe it's the accent you use? American English is unaccented (at least the mid-western version that's most common) so it's easier to add an accent while British English has to take away an accent and then add one.

I asked my Spanish teacher this a while ago. She said if you do not start rolling R's when you are young then your tounge does not form the way to do it. It is very complicated to explain.

I have no idea to be honest, surely there is a way that may be able to somewhat help. I guess its just you have to change your habits and that aint easy unfortunately.

That's not true. I started taking Spanish in my early 20's and I've developed a fairly decent Mexican accent. (Don't ask about my Spanish accent 'cuz it sucks.) I distinctly remember learning in Spanish class exactly how to roll one's r's properly, but I don't remember how. Now I just do it. It is something you can learn at any age.

My dad has been trying to learn for about a year now. I think he gave up on it though, not sure.

Since I'm Mexican, I can roll my R's. I learned when I was real young, now it's no sweat for me. I can also do the People's Eyebrow too BTW.
