and all I have is the ing common cold. Which sucks, I just got over one from less than 2 weeks ago and now this hits me. I feel like maxing out on a coffin, cigarettes, and rock band because I feel less like I have a cold and more like I have malaria. I know I sound selfish, and I dont need to, but with all the technology you'd think a cure for the cold would come out about now. Any tips people?

Sprite, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Cough Syrup. South Parks know the drill.

I actually have been drinking sprite all ing day. I ran out of Chicken Noodle so I settled for tomato. Maybe tomorrow I can run out for some cough syrup, because Tylenol does the trick........for a maximum of one hour, then I feel like crapagain.

dude you got it easy. in the last like 4 or 5 years, i had one or two days of having no sinuses or stuffy nose. always, even the the summer, i have one of my nostrils stuffed up. not runny-nose or anything, just not able to breath out of one of them. one day i just woke up and it was gone, next it came back. then last year i tried one of those nose things where i squirt it, but it only helped for the rest of the day.

The common cold is a virus, since a virus is always mutating in some way or form their is no direct cure to it, thats why they'll never be a cure to aids. Only antibiotics can slowly down the virus and eventually you can recover from it, well the cold anyway not aids.

I'm not too sure what tips i can give you but maybe filling a bowl up with honey or lemon and hot water, then keeping you head over that breathing it in. It sometimes does the trick.

Drink a lot of orange juice. That's what I always do and I rarely get sick in the winter.

Dispite common knowledge, drinking or taking in a ton of Vitamin C doesn't help your white blood cells.
In fact, taking some zinc tablets will do the trick

It doesn't sur eme, but it makes me able to walk around and do stuff.
