www.smh.com.au/articles/2007/12/28/1198345167963.htmlSeriously, things like this are just so awful to see happen. It is so wrong and unfortunate that in places such as Pakistan, politics becomes a life or death situation. Not much more to say really than just how awful and tragic things like this are. Countries like USA, Aus, UK and many others dont get this but there are countries that do and it is just plain wrong. How can you justify killing a leader who is taking a stand on something. Al-Qaeda has done it again and who knows where this is going to stop. It's just so awful... Thoughts?

Horrible. Tragic. Sad.
However, they claim to have evidence that Al-Qaeda did it. Then, why don't they show us the proof? Instead of telling us about it, actually show us.

Another reason why they will never be able to come to peace over there.

It doesn't mater who did it really, Al-Qaeda or not, it is someone who represents the same values. And it's really bad news. We cannot afford to have instability in Pakistan.
And how long before the conspiracy theorists start blaming Bush for this.

Him and Hillary are being blamed for the Iraq war and saying that if we didn't go to Iraq, she wouldn't have been killed.

Well, at least they're not claiming the US government deliberately orchestrated the thing like the 9/11 idiots.

Another reason why they will never be able to come to peace over there. Exactly... and then they wonder why there is so much fighting there

The government there is now claiming that she hit her head on the sunroof lever and was not shot. A lot of people think they are lying of course. And they could be.
It's a very unfortunate incident. I may have been totally out of the loop on all this stuff though but I can't say I had ever heard of this woman before this incident.

I heard about it right after it happened. It's a real tragedy. I wonder if they are still going to go through with their election on the 8th.

That doesn't seem very plausible to me, but what do I know.
