Man
This town is in the middle of a storm right now, the power has been off for a day, just recently coming back on. It's not bad at all compared to the years before, where the power went out for weeks at a time.
It was all like a movie the day before the storm though (I live in nothern california) and everyone just looked up into the sky and there were nice white clouds and then half of the sky that hadn't reached us was pretty much dark grey and as soon as the cloud was over us, the town went straight to hell.
Power outages, winds taking down power lines and trees and whatnot. T'was quite crazy. Still, there are strong gusts of winds outside, and I don't expect the power to be on for much longer..but it sure is interesting.
Anyway, what do you, or what would you do if the power went out for your own entertainment.
Sadly, people are so wrapped around movies/computers/games to take their time off of things, when they actually aren't there they don't know what to do.
I'm glad I'm an outside person.

I love storms, not life threatining storms, but huge thunderstorms that don't do **** but make noise and give you a sight to look at.
Anyways, id probably watch a dvd on a portable dvd player (always keep it charged just in case), listen to the ol' iPod, and then after that do what they had to do in the old days, eat and wank off (not at the same time).

I also love big storms, and when the power goes out it's kinda fun. I remember once it rained here so hard it filled a bunch of ditches up with water so we went skimboarding in it. I remember once, when I used to love WWF and didnt know I could just download all of it, I wanted Royal Rumble 2000 SO bad. I ended up not being able to get it because when there was like 2 mins left the power went out so I bought 2001 instead, I'm happy I did because it was only like 5 bucks and 2000 was like $50.

I hate storms all together. Damaging or not. When the power goes out i just try and amuse myself by playing a portable gaming device or reading a book/newspaper/magazine. But for some reason, when the power goes off it always seems to be at a time i am eating.  |

I LOVE storms, as well. Ever been outside when it's like flooding? I love walking in that. Summer rain is  ing awesome. Driving around through the wind and destruction...I love that. And don't even get me started on the power going out. That's my favorite. It also has to do with a very erotic moment/memory, but that's um...Yeah. God, I love storms. And to think, it just started raining here, and then stopped. I was very let down. I'm one of those types who can fall asleep easier when there's a storm. |

Eh i wouldnt mind if the power went out during the day but usually it's of a night so i can't read or write or anything.

rainstorms is about the best i get here in Northants but when it pours it is absolutely fantastic there is nothing better than getting soaked straight thru it makes you feel all refreshed whilst in it good times, then after a couple of hours you start to stink bad times.
