I load trucks at UPS and I work at a pizza parlor.
Do people still call it a pizza parlor?

Also post memos, and update the guides that are created. Deal with many clients, and many different projects. Love the job - boss is great... co-workers are awesome too..

Technical Dispatcher at NCR. Night shift 3-11. I take calls from techs and help them decide what to work on,close/suspend work orders to fix ATM, Fast-lane terminals, cash registers, dell computer calls, server issues at stores like Wal-mart and Home Depot and Starbucks and financial institutes like Wells Fargo . Sit at a computer for 8 hours, do maybe 3-4 hours actual work, then spend the rest socializing with the cool people who work here or troll these boards for hours on end.

I work in the kitchen of a nursing home as a Dietary Aide. My boss cuts costs anyway she can so she can get her bonus at the end of the year for not overspending. Lately, she's been cutting our hours, she 'claims' we're over hours... Greedy b*tch...anyways, I used to like my job when I started, now it's gotten pretty unreal with how much stuff others get away with and how certain ones get raises...stupid when I work the hardest out of them all and i'm stuck at $8.60 with only 4 hours a day. I need to get out of there so I can go to college for Communications, get my Bachelor's degree in it, then go for a job as a creative writer in WWE, that would be my dream job.

Worked for Wal-Mart from 2003-2007.. quit there in August. I was a Manager there and I went on to try out a few other things that failed. I am now going to work at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center on the 21st and they pay about double what I was making and the hours are alot better. Going to try and go to school for communications and try to get into television production.

I work for a Supermarket chain called The Co-operative, aka The Co-op.
Started there in July 2005 just filling shelves on the provisions dairy department before moving onto the produce section, then last year I worked in the bakery and on the deli counter and now I've been promoted to senior staff and help to run the grocery section and have staff under me. I want a career in retail, so it's all good.
It's only a 15 minute drive from my house, I have made some great friends and love everybody I work with. Pay is decent aswel.

So.. I was wondering what everyone here (who has a job) Did for a job? Anything crazy or out of the ordinary? I've only been with my new job for a month, It's a different department from where I was. But I'm currently a Bus Aide for the Mentally disabled. Basically, My job is to ensure the safety of the consumers that we pick up and drop off during the day. I also run the wheelchair lift on the bus. I LOVE my job. It's really an inspiring thing, Because people bitch and moan (including myself) about their life troubles.. But every morning when I pick up the consumers.. They ALWAYS have a smile on their faces. They're just so happy to be alive and it's a great feeling knowing that i'm helping them. What about you guys? That's pretty cool. Not a job, as I'm unemployed at the moment, but basically for free I babysit my brother who has downs syndrome, after picking him up every day from school. In addition to that I'm going to take classes starting late January to try to further get into working with children with special needs. Something that really interests me. Keep up with that man. It's a good thing.

Student in college, working at jewel. I won't even capitalize jewel (see?) because it's SO demeaning... I go there everyday wanting to kick babies. SO not cool. EDIT: Oh, oh, yeah, and they gave me this "1 year" badge, to remind me of how much my life sucks. It's like, thanks, bitch.

Lets see I've worked at the following places; Dairy Queen, Burger King, Sonic, Geek Squad, and Kroger. Still waiting for my band to get signed. Damn, our lack of recording gear/money for studio time.
