My only ticket wasn't for speeding, but more of a moving violation. It took place last April, when I made a routine grocery run at the store down the street from my house. Upon my return at the light where I'd make a left turn back towards my place, I had a green light, but not the green arrow. Unfortunately, I was stuck at the spot facing the road, but too far ahead of the light. I had to make a decision and fast.
I took what I thought was a good opening, and tried completing the turn. Coming up fast in the line of traffic was a van, and I didn't quite make it. She crashed into my rear right passenger door, totally destroying the whole panel. She careened down the sidewalk, destroying a speed limit sign, and I made two dounts across US-1, settling in the exact place I was headed, but facing the wrong way. I was shaken, holding up traffic, but I knew not to try and move the car, flipping the hazard lights on instead.
Cops came. At that point no one knew who was at fault or what, but the officers helped me sit down outside my car, and I called my dad. He came, helped me bring my food home, and made sure the car went to our usual body shop. I got a ticket for failing to yield the right of way. I paid the fine, and opted to take an online traffic course, in order to expunge the points from my license.
The other party was nice about it. She admitted that had she not have been speeding, she probably would've just honked angrily at me as I cut through. It took a while, but my car was fixed good as new. I was lucky. No one got hurt, my insurance wasn't affected, and now I'm more mindful of speed and traffic signals. I'm more likely to get other drivers mad at me by waiting at a light, than to just jump into oncoming traffic.

No tickets here but my best friend got a speeding ticket in florida, 81 in a 55 and had to mail in the $225 fine, but it was a day late, so he received a letter telling him he was no longer permitted to drive i n florida. no idea for how long though as after the first sentence, he threw the letter away

One night around 1:30AM I was taking my girlfriend home, and after I dropped her off, I got caught speeding, I was going 65 in a 25. And it was past curfew (Minors can't drive past 11PM, and can't be walking or anything past 12). They were city cops though and don't have radar, so they couldn't write me a ticket for speeding.
