I have to do a speech for my Public Speaking class outside of school and I dont know where to do my speech and what it should be about and I have to have it done by 1/20. I e-mailed 2 rehab centers around here to do a motivational type speech and they just e-mailed me a couple days ago saying they cant let me because of patient confidentiality. Does Anybody know where I can do a speech and what it could be on? Please keep this thread serious too because my english grade depends on this and if i dont pass this, i dont graduate.

Do it on something you know alot about. Something you could easily drag out and make good points.

I would try a retirement home... Give a speech on how people of todays generation take the freedoms in this country for granted. There is alot you can cover, right to vote, freedom of press, (I was the only person in my greduating class who actually read the new paper daily, and not just the sports section), the advantages children get because of the lessons previous generations had to learn the hard way, free education. Almost limitless. or if your religious talk to your church and give a speech regarding religion.
