While the board is moving at the speed of molasses...
What type of connection are you hooked up with?
I've got comcast high-speed. But it's wireless, and they gave me this Netgear crapthat often disconnects. Talking on AIM is a pain in the ass.

comcast highspeed w/ a linksys wireless-g router... it works fine for everything needed in the house.

Mines pretty good, I use my Sidekick most the time, or the ones at school.

I'm running cable highspeed through a local service provider provided through the cities cable company. I use a Linksys router to run my Wii/360/PS3/DS/PSP.
