Today I will be taking my first Regent Exam for High School. It's Math A Regent. I'm a little nervous as, I'm not the best test taker. I'm fine in class and with Homework, but when it comes to tests, I'm sitting there looking at what it looks to be Hieroglyphics. My friend is coming over at 11, we're going to study for about 2 hours and then at 1:15, the test begins. Anybody have any tricks or tips that can help me pass thing test? Thanks in advance.

I wish you the best of luck.
Tips: -Don't stress -Get enough sleep -Have breakfast -Don't study what you do know, study what you don't know -Get each other to write a mini test using content and try to complete it under exam conditions
Hope that helps.

-use abbreviations to remember equation rules, makes it alot easier if there's algebra -don't ever waste your time on one question, if you're stuck move on otherwise you'll do what I did for my tests in England and fail because you didn't finish. - you learn something better by teaching others it so you and you're friend teach each other rather than trying to teach yourself.

Oh. Back in my day we called those tests in High School, Basic Skills Tests. It was to weed out the retards before graduation.

Well, I just got home from the Test. And I think I did pretty good. There were 30 M.C Questions, I'm pretty sure i got 25 correct. So thats a 50 so far.And for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th part, I got maybe 15 points off of all of them together ( I suck at those parts). So thats about 65 right there (Passing) And plus the Regents Curve (points added on) I maybe got a 70 or 75.

Thanks in advance. i took it 4 years ago and got a 100 along with 6 other kids in my math class, out of 18. no one got below a 85, so everyone in my particular math class got mastery. regents are a joke, i got 3 100's and no score below 90 including physics, bio, math a, math b, spanish,etc....never took chemistry though
