Report: NYC school cuffed kindergartener over snit3:53 AM EST, January 25, 2008 NEW YORK - Police and school officials are investigating a mother's allegations that her 5-year-old son was handcuffed and taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after throwing a temper tantrum in his Queens kindergarten. Jasmina Vasquez tells the Daily News her son, Dennis Rivera, was "scared to death" by the Jan. 17 incident at PS 81. Police spokesman Paul Browne and a city Education Department spokeswoman declined to discuss specifics Thursday, saying the incident was under investigation. Vasquez says she and a baby-sitter raced to the school after a guidance counselor called her to say Dennis was being taken to the hospital. The baby-sitter says she found the 68-pound boy in handcuffs. Does this channel you saw the news on have a website? Most local channels have a website. -CMD I checked on the "KCAL news" website and there was nothing about a 5 yr old girl getting cuffed. |

I could imagine haha. "DONT MAKE ME THROW PLAYDOH ON YOU" Actually, kids can be really vicious these days. I once saw a 6 year old smoking for instance. But really, it's pathetic that they would do this with such little information; they are acting as if the kid is a psychopath when loads of little kids act in this way. |
