After looking at Jays African Cichlids I thought I’d post some pictures of my dad’s saltwater aquarium before it is changed from a mixed tank to a just fish tank (allows for more fish per area, and allows for fish who would normally eat some of the inverts). The first lot of pictures are taken by me, but I wasn’t able to capture all the fish so there may be some other photos just to show you what they are… be warned my familiy have sadly named all the fish
My Pictures
Overall Tank (its 5x3x2 foot) and I think around 120 gallons
The Anemone in dusk/dawn lighting
Normal lighting with our two Orange Clown Fish (named Wayne and Garth from Wayne’s World) in the Anemone
The Clowns with the Anemone again
Barbara the Algae Blenny (because every tank needs an ugly fish)
The Algae Blenny again
Jonathan the Yellow Tang
Roxy the Fox Face Rabbit-fish
Whitey the Chalk Goby (named after the albino in Me, Myself & Irene)
Mandy the Mandarin-fish
Popin the Clown Wrasse
One of the three Blood Shrimps (named Ian, Mary and Graham after my dads mates)
One of the Blood Shrimps again
Amy the Banggai Cardinal-fish
My dads favourite fish, Syd the Majestic Angel-fish (named after Syd Barrett)
Syd again
Syd again
My favourite fish, Larry the Copperband Butterfly-fish (who unfortunately died recently) but they are one hell of a difficult fish to keep, and we had him ages
Larry again
Not my pictures
Beryl the Royal Gramma
Genghis the Mantis Shrimp, came as a surprise on the live rock, he’s small and harmless now, but when he get bigger, he’ll have to be removed as they can harm fish
Sigourney the Boxer Shrimp
Jade the Emerald Crab
Sebastian the Anemone Crab
Various Red Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab
Various Salt Water Snails
Blue Legs? the Blue Leg Reef Hermit Crab
Anyway, I’ll post the pictures of the new tank after its started and matured in about 2-3
months
Anyway yea, I hope you liked it and please post any pictures of any tanks you have
