I've seen all of his state of the union addresses and they're all pretty much the same.
"Make My Tax Cuts for the top 2% of the economic chain permanent"
"The War in Iraq is going well, but we should still live in fear of terrorist"

I'll give the state of the union address....ready? we're effed.
We have a housing market thats looking for a buyout a la the Airline industry in the 80s and 90s. We have a general economy in the tank because everyone but those who apparently our best and brightest leaders knows that there is a recession coming and is saving to make it through. Government needs to realize that they cannot and should not try to control the market. Business cycles happen. Let them happen. We're engaged in a pointless and prolonged military engagement (I refuse to call it a war since Congress, not the president, is the only one allowed to declare war and to this date they haven't) with no real exit strategy. And basically, everyone in congress is bought therefore nothing actually gets done with regards to the actual people of this country. Serious change needs to happen that can really only be achieved with a wide scale "washing of the hands" but being a realist, I know that will not happen anytime soon.
ok im done my rant now.
