I was kind of bored in between Superbowl commercials, as well as inspired to post some thing... any thing... so, here we go.
I ordered Best of Chikara (it's an independent wrestling promotion, based out of Pennsylvania)
I ordered said DVD on January 27th, a Sunday. Got shipping confirmation the following Monday, and on Best Buy's site next to the DVD it says 1 Day Business Shipping.
Not extra fee, actual order in stock will be shipped the following business day, well... Bull sh~t, I tell you. I haven't received my DVD yet, I went on site, hit the added info and it shows it as shipping in between the 2/7/08=2/15/08.
I swear, if it's in stock for one business day shipping, why ship it 10, 15 or 20 days later?
Oh and in store service, both Best Buy and Circuit City people serves very little no intellectual purpose, whatsoever.

Why didnt you just check the Best Buy at Carousel?
But nonetheless, it does suck. I hate craplike that.

So I just used my Best Buy card. I should have just went to Philly and put a gun to Gran Akuma's head. Much easier way of acquiring a damn DVD! |

Have you tried Soundgarden in Armory Square? They have douchenozzles for clerks but a better selection than the bigger chain stores.

Same thing happened to me with the Eddie Guerrero DVD a few years back. Cept it didnt take that long. But I had goten 1 Day shipping and it showed up 5 days later. Best Buy sucks! |

Best Buy doesn't know crapabout shit, that has any crapto do with anything. ...shit. The following things all took place in one visit; -They tried to sell me an SLR camera (for my photo class) for $239. I told them I could eBay one for under 50. They said I would never be able to find one (even black and white) for under 100. I would later go on to find out that I can buy the same camera...For twenty dollars.  -I was bored, and began playing Mario Galaxy. Employee walks up to me and says, "Awesome game, you have this at home?", to which I reply, "Yeah, it's pretty badass...It's almost like Mario 64, dontcha think?"....He replies "I've never played that one...What's an N64?". ^^^I should'a  ing slapped a bitch for that one. Also, he was astounded by the fact that I could make Mario spin by shaking the Wii Remote, after he claimed to play the game in his own home. -I couldn't get a single employee to help me find the following artists/album, and no-one there (even the dude I saw with spiked up black hair and eyeliner) had even heard of "such old music"; -Discharge -Cheap Sex -Varukers -GBH -Type O Negative How the do you NOT know of at least Cheap Sex and Type O? Whatever. They're ing stupid, too. A close friend stole well over 200 cds from our local one. |

I think Best Buys online ordering service sucks. I pre-ordered a CD from there a few months ago. Any other site I've preordered from, the item has arrived at my home either the day before or the day of the release. But when I ordered from them it came a week later. They do that shipping thing where they ship it via UPS...which then takes it to the USPS...and THEN to your home. Going through all those people makes the item arrive late.

2 Weeks ago there was a CM Punk signing at my Best Buy. I had an action figure to get signed. After I met Punk I grab a dvd. I put both on the counter and handed the guy the dvd. He goes you want that too (pointing to the figure). Sarcasticly I said yea I do. He grabs it and was about to scan it but paused and goes Oh that's the thing over there. Guy must of felt like a dumbass realizing the store he works in doesn't sell toys.

I had a good experience with Best Buy.com. I ordered Insomniac a couple weeks before Christmas and it came within 4 days.
CBT: I had the same problem with finding the CHIKARA dvd. You know who I thought would have it, but didn't- FYE at Carousel. Jesus, they have a ton of other wrestling and MMA ( including Bodog) that other places don't, but they didn't. I looked for it forever than just gave up and ordered it off ROH's site

I LOLed the other day when I seen mortal kombat figs in KBs... rant-worthy. But yeah, Dan, I figured FYE would be one of two places to get it. Best Buy more likely since they carry (online at least) Shimmer, and the other Indy to DVD releases. But really Syracuse sucks when it comes to finding non-WWE stuff that is worth a damn. I couldn't find Shimmer after Vol.1, Couldn't find Chikara, I still can't find WSX, and it's a travesty to think of how the only good Indy finds I've uncovered, I've yet to buy.
