If Cobain hadnt died, they would just have died out with the rest of Seattle Grunge. cobain was the biggest name in music at one time- if he was a prick who wanted fame- he really could have been even bigger. he was offered to open for guns,u2 and a slew of others. alot of people say pearl jam was bigger but if you ask record labels etc. they will tell you cobain made it that way. anyone as poetic and just real as cobain would never lose relevance. he wasnt a '' lets have a good time rocker'', he was someone who had substance. tori amos said it best, without cobain people are starving for sumone to say something that means something! |

Nirvana is and will forever be the most overrated band in the history of music. name one person who can write lyrics like cobain? so many respected people think the world of him, neil young, cher, tori amos, eddie vedder, i could go on all day. noone wrote catchier songs than him, his knack for making hybrids of pop and sludgy rock are unmatched. he was a very thoughtful person who although suffered with his own issues never promoted drugs or any other immoral garbage |

Sure they are one of a kind, but they are not licensed. look it up on wikipedia primary wave owns the rights to cobains songs now, courtney sold them!!!!! the box was made and given to big name record people to spark interest in kurts music. it wasnt even meant for fans, some guy in mi sold me one for 975, he is a longtime dj and not a big nirvana fan so he tossed it up on ebay. |
