Cobain doesn't own his recordings, just the publishing. Sub-Pop probably owns the recordings. There's a difference. Record labels own the recordings. That's how they make money. That's why you see so many Greatest Hits cds by artists and groups. A lot of them are released by the label, not the band. You don't have to call people names. I could see you are probably getting hot realizing you spent almost a grand on cd's someone ripped to their computer and reburned, called Limited Edition, and sold to you for $1,000. But don't get rude with anyone for trying to help you out. the cds are real- i have a coa and a signed 8x10 from courney love geffen owns the rights to nirvana primary owns the songs catalogue dont tell about a band ive followed for my whole life. You Know how easy it is to forge something/make a custom record label? Checkout Harvested, they release Pink Floyd albums. They're not official, or own the cataloge?. And Why would Courtney Love sign the cds? Pft, Pink Floyd's better..and you sir wasted your money. Offical or not. I don't care how much of a fan you are, I would pay 1000 for every Pink Floyd album in a worn out case from a DJ in Detroit. BTW Who said anything about John Lennon? Bottom Line, Nirvana is good, but not as good as your selling them to be, and you wasted your money. \\why cant you just say thats your opinon most americans think their opinons make it fact Can You Say Hypocrite? |

No one is disputing that, numb nuts. People are disputing the fact that Nirvana is good music. Period. cobain and lennon stood for something most bands are just out to  and have a good time by default nirvana owns the shot out of any band ever Please dont put Cobain in the same sentence with musical genious like Lennon. Like a CoA isn't easy to fake? There's no need to talk down to me. I'm wasn't talking about your taste. I'm saying you might be wrong in what you think about something you paid $1,000 for. It sounds sketchy to me. And if Geffen owns the rights to Nirvana, they would have had to had something to do with the box set since it's got the band's name plastered all over it. But since I don't see their name nor logo on it, again, I have to call it a fake. I have a band that I spend hundreds of dollars on a year because I collect anything they put out. So I wouldn't try to steer you wrong. But if all you're going to reply with is namecalling and down talking, don't bother replying. |

I don't know how much you make, but $1000 is one pay check for me. I'd have to stash away half a months pay to afford that. I don't have that kind of money. Wish I did though.

I want my estate to be worth more money than any other dead celeb. And before you say "There's 10 pictures of it!" ever think someone could have brought the item to different houses/rooms? |
