well, lol i played today for a few hours (and will do tonight) and im still happy with it, i still love this game OK admitidly i overloaded and played 2 days straight (xmas-day after boxingday) and then was still playing it till mid jan-early feb......but started playing othher games (COD4-aholic now lol....i hav cod 5 but dont prefer it) but once you leave a game for a while it gets enjoyable again, but i predict ill get tired of it soon and i feel that everyone hates the game cause it didnt have everything and meet up to al the hype, but that was still good for the building base of their first game and now the second ones being made they can do so much and forfil all the wants like SSOS and kotm and extended and individual move sets and more moves.....

Most of the people that truly "hated" the first game, only hated it because they were terrible at playing it - and then condemned it for it's "terrible control scheme."

Nope, the game just sucked. It definitely has potential to be a great game but having every wrestler with pretty much identical movesets and lack of features killed it.

What annoyed me, was that this game had two years of build up for nothing. There was more effort in showing Samoa Joe in a body suit, than there was for the game

So for $17, should I buy it?

So for $17, should I buy it? No. I bought mine for $12 and I regret it.

I don't think 2 will happen. The dude who invested in Midway last year is giving them until June to live.

I just did irreversable moves, the standing clothesline and flipping neckbreaker. And threw a little AJ style Backflip DDT bt that is reversable but it's rare.

But for how long they took to make it, it was horribly underwhelming. I hope they make another one soon so all the people who bitch at THQ/Yuke's for not doing that much to Smackdown every year will finally see how little you can do in such a small development window.

Didn't see this posted: This sucks in my opinion. For the most part just because of my love for Midway. I do really like iMPACT! as well. I think the first was a great building block for what could have been a great second game.

I hated it cause it was horrible....it took soo long to make and yet everyone pretty much had the same moves it was just a horrible game ma dudes

Looks like iMPACT! 2 won't see the light of day, it's that word against Samoa Joe's confirmation at the moment.

I just got a 360 so I picked up Impact again(had it already for PS2) for only 9.99 at Best Buy, great deal and I like the game. There are only a couple people that play online thaT I've seen so far though .

Video game website 1Up.com is reporting that Warner Bros. is interested in acquiring TNA video game licensee Midway Games, which has had financial troubles for some time and is expected to end up on the market.
According to the report, Warner Bros. would be interested in paying up to $30 million to acquire the company, which also maintains licenses for Spongebob Squarepants, Mortal Kombat and the Vin Diesel-based game Wheelman.
The second TNA game is well into development, although it's eventual release likely hinges on what state Midway ends up in when its financial issues finally come to a head.

I do hope someone buys the license for the game as it could be a great game with some issues fixed like more moves, etc.
