- Leticia Cline is still with the company, but she is currently on a leave of absence to do some outside projects she's involved with such as the X Games, Maxim, and more. Her replacement, Crystal, was found in an open casting call in Orlando. Management is already very high on her work thus far.
- Internally, everyone is raving about Karen Angle's performance on TNA telecasts. Given her experience, which before TNA was none, she's done a really good job.
- TNA wrestler Alex Shelley worked a recent PWG show. A few months ago, TNA made the decision to not allow contracted workers to appear on PWG or ROH shows because they often release commercially distributed DVDs of their shows. TNA talent can appear on DVDs the promotions sell through their website or at live events, just not on DVDs which you might find at Best Buy. TNA made a slight exception in this case and allowed Shelley to work the show, although he's still not allowed to appear on a commercially distributed DVD. However, the two sides didn't come to an official agreement regarding this, which makes this situation interesting. At the PWG show Shelley worked at, he went on the mike and said that PWG is his favorite place to work for. That remark is obviously not going to win Shelley any brownie points with TNA officials should they find out about it.
- Former WWE/WCW star Bill Demott now has a page on MySpace at myspace.com/billdemott. He posted up a rant regarding the current climate of the wrestling business and he noted that he's retiring as an actual wrestler at the end of the year because neither WWE nor TNA appear to be interested in his services. He notes that he actually contacted TNA officials regarding possible employment in their company. DeMott wrote, "I have contacted some of the TNA guys for a while and there seems to be no interest there!" Then he adds, "So, I have made the decision to end my wrestling career on a High Note and at the end of December I will call it quits after 20 Fabulous Years." He's still taking wrestling booking through the end of the year. Despite his retirement, he will continue to run wrestling training seminars.
