Well if I were you I wouldn't get my hopes up for this year, either.

It would be awesome if Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage were 2 of the legends this year.

The legends this year, the usual. Rock, Austin, Bret, Foley and a few others.
I really love having them all in the game but I think it's time for a change. But they should keep Rock since he has been in every one

Having like 20 legends wouldn't be bad in my opinion.

Can't remember anyone else I counted 12, but that's in the PSP version. In the other's there are just 9 counting the ECW legends. They said this year's game could have the biggest roster ever, so maybe they can add more legends... at least thats what I hope.

2008: 15 sd superstars 15 raw superstars 6 extremists 7 divas 6 legends ( or another 3 on psp ) = 49 superstars 2007 theres was 66 superstars 2006 = 62 2005 = 52 HCTP = 54 SYM = 60 Just Bring It = 44 Know Your Role = 66 Smackdown! = 36 i hope they are acurate if so 2009 will have to get over 66 superstars, if its the game with the biggist roster.

If they can fit in 20+ legends, Retro-GM Mode with the choice of retro stages and no brand split only 1 show. That would be cool.
Here should be the roster breakdown.
SD! - 30 RAW- 30 ECW - 10 Legends - 20 DLC - (Less popular guys like Shannon Moore, Super Crazy, arenas, free roster brand updates and less notable legends)

There's no need for 20 Legends. The fact that they have as many as they do annoys me, because I'd much rather have as many people off of today's actual roster as possible. If you want to play as Hulk Hogan, go back and play a game from around the time when he wrestled. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a few Legends in there--especially the ECW ones from last year's, but when the amount of them gets to the point where there's more of them than guys off of the ECW roster, then I think that's too many.

Well, if that's the case: If you want to play as Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, or an ECW guy, go play an ECW Game. Fun how your analogy can be turned against you, eh? On that note, if I were to go back and play Royal Rumble for Genesis, I couldn't have matches like Hogan vs. Triple H, Hogan vs. Cena, etc. And before you say, 'create them', it's almost impossible to get a spot on replication, plus they don't call the guy by their name on commentary or when they come out. Add to the fact that some legends (Dusty, for example) have never been in a wrestling game, and people would like to play as him. Just because guys like Hogan (who were of actual ing RELEVANCE to wrestling) get in over Shannon Moore is no reason to say Legends shouldn't be in, or there should be very few. Seriously, there is a need for 20 legends this year, considering it's the 'biggest roster ever', and they need more tag teams than the WWE currently has.

I hope they make 3 attire for Ric Flair like they made with Foley last year... Why? He always looked and wrestled the same. At least the Three Faces of Foley's had slightly different movesets/entrances.

Considering both Dreamer and Sabu were on the active roster around the cutoff date. And to be honest with you, up until last year that's what I did. There's no need for 20 Legends. The fact that they have as many as they do annoys me, because I'd much rather have as many people off of today's actual roster as possible. He was just in 07, and he was in Anarchy Rulz. Also, I don't see why you're getting so offended over my opinion... Just have the game with the full activate roster and make the legends as DLC Exactly. That way there'd be something that people would actually want to buy, and for those who don't, they wouldn't have to.

Who honestly uses the Legends more then once? I think there useless to have in the game in the first place I feel the exact same way. Sure, they're fun to have sometimes, but I could definitely live without them. Although, we probably shouldn't say that because God forbid we state our opinions...

I buy the WWE games to play as the current roster. I"m sure the 56 million people who buy Madden every year buy it for the current roster as well. If THQ was smart, and thats a big if, cram the game with current guys, offer the Legends as DLC. If you don't want them, you don't have to buy them.
