Who honestly uses the Legends more then once? I think there useless to have in the game in the first place I do. I've played as Terry Funk and Sabu a ton of times this year.

Sabu is the only "legend" I use on a regular base. Even putting Sabu as a "legend" is streching it

I feel the exact same way. Sure, they're fun to have sometimes, but I could definitely live without them. Although, we probably shouldn't say that because God forbid we state our opinions... I buy the WWE games to play as the current roster. I"m sure the 56 million people who buy Madden every year buy it for the current roster as well. If THQ was smart, and thats a big if, cram the game with current guys, offer the Legends as DLC. If you don't want them, you don't have to buy them. I couldn't agree with you more. It's also be a smart move on THQ's end financially as well, because what do you think people would be more willing to pay for: Legends or Mid-Carders and Jobbers who didn't originally make it in?

I use the legends alot more then the current roster at times. Who seriously uses guys like Spike Dudley, Kenzo Suzuki, Rodney Mac, Rene Dupree, Maven ect. from past games?
They are usless. Seriously, why do people want jobbers like Moore, Wang, Knox, Smith ect... then Legends, especially legends that we have yet to see... Macho Man, Owen Hart, Bulldogs, Demolition, Yoko, Diesel, Ramon, Flair, Warrior..

It all comes down to opinions and personal preference.

Legends add to the game, take them out of '08 and '08 has a shity roster. Legends are also incorperated in the storylines, so again the legends have more use then the jabroni's. Honestly, I feel that each of those Legends would be useless in SmackDown! vs. RAW 2009. It all comes down to opinions and personal preference.

I think that they should just have the entire current roster than the legends. I have nothing against the legends, but I rarely play with legends and a lot of people don't play with the legends, so why waste space on legends when you could have the current superstars.

Just have the game with the full activate roster and make the legends as DLC Or, they could keep the legends in the game and put all the guys that people seem to think are more important as DLC. Who honestly uses the Legends more then once? I think there useless to have in the game in the first place I do, as well as a lot of people I know. Because the current roster has maybe five guys (Orton, Cena, Taker, HBK, Kane) I use in the games, I like to have classic wrestlers in the game to play as. Plus, it introduces younger fans to superstars of years' past. You'll never see Owen or Macho Man in a WWE game, ever. Same was said about Bret Hart and Hogan years ago. Neither one of them (Bret/Hulk) has a bitch wife who hates wrestling, though.

I use the legends quite a bit when i'm actaully using guys on the roster.Granted i don't use them all i do use Rude,Austin, and The Rock from time to time.I think Legends as DLC would be a dreadful idea. i don't want to have to pay for something that in my oppinion SHOULD be in the game. I'd rather have Stone Cold and The Rock over Moore and Wang Yang. Not to mention i'm sure no one on here would be wishing we didn't have legends if they actually announced amazing guys this time I.E. Sting,Ricky Steamboat,80's Flair.

Because of the deal with Hogan, he couldn't get a CS figure, so I'd assume it works the same way with the games.

It's either the deal with Hogan, or Vince's hatred for him, but either way, Savage ain't gonna be in a WWE game.

Or we can have jobbers, and the 20 legends. But THQ and Yukes are so lazy.

Or, they could keep the legends in the game and put all the guys that people seem to think are more important as DLC. In a current WWE game the current talent should be a higher priority over past talent. If this were "WWE Through The Ages" then it would be a different story. It's not rocket science, legends DLC is the more beneficial move financially for THQ than mid/lower carder DLC. It's a simple business move that makes light years of sense for THQ and in the end gives everyone what they want. Do you honestly believe the kids who play SVR are gonna be like "I'm gonna go look up Brutus Beefcake because I had to face him in the Legend Killer challenge!"?
