It’s a gym…what more description does there need to be? It is fairly modern, and has all the up to date appliances you would expect to find in a gym. There are different sections; a weights area and a cardio area which houses the treadmills and bicycles. The area itself was standard sized. Half of the wall space was filled up with posters and charts, showing people how to use the machines or how much weight they need to lose in order to be considered ‘normal’. The other half is mirrored, not what you need in a gym. Now you can watch yourself and others around you suffering and sweating. The gym at this time is fairly busy. It is early so many of these people are middle aged and catching an hour in the gym before work as per the instruction of their doctor. There is not much noise except the purring and whizzing of the machines and the occasional groan of pain from someone over stretching. The door swings open. A man walks in, wearing a pair of black tracksuit trousers and a black shirt with the word “Destruction” on the front. He has a towel around his neck and a bottle of water in his right hand. The man is Master of Destruction. He does not look happy. He walks over to the nearest treadmill. He steps on it and programmes the speed that he wants. It is at a moderate speed and he begins to run still looking irritated. He begins to speak, his voice drifting occasionally as the ride on the treadmill progresses.
“I needed that. I needed a wake up call…The Anointed did that for me. I thought I could take them out myself. Damn! That was the plan. That’s why I came back; well more specifically Alex Sean. So I underestimated them. That was a mistake. Maybe I need help. Yeah, just to see off the Anointed. That’s all I need just someone to keep them out of my way while I hit the target. I need to get in better shape. They got the better of me and that isn’t good enough. I need to get myself back to what I was. I need to get into winning form. I mean come on before they kicked my ass I was losing to Trent Draven. The number of times I have beaten him and he gets the better of me. Well that’s it not anymore will anyone get the better of me. I am in training again, I’m hitting the gym and I am going to get back into the peak of physical condition. You see my mission is to get rid of Alex Sean. I will make no secret of that anymore. People think I’m weak. People think I don’t have what it takes anymore. Based on my last couple of performances maybe they were right. But the key word there is ‘were’. Because you see I am not going to let my performances dip anymore. Like I said I am training. I am training harder than I have trained for a long time. I understand that the anointed are tough. They have a long history in WFWF and wrestling in general. They are legends and not for nothing. But you see the fact remains I am a hall of famer. Alex Sean thinks that he can lead the Anointed to dominance. I remember when the Anointed would have been a feared name in WFWF but not now. It is just a name. There have been factions in WFWF before who have tried to step up to the plate. I have been in a faction myself – The Slayer Administration where I broke out into the star I am. I was also ‘involved’ in the UIA – a faction which I destroyed. People may have other stories as to how that group folded but it was me who stuck the final nail in their coffin. What I am trying to say if the Anointed will no last. I will destroy them on the way to destroying Alex Sean.”
Master of Destruction slows the treadmill down. He steps of and walks over to the weigh section. He picks up one of the small weights, it is not clear the exact weight. He begins to repeatedly lift the weight up and down with his right arm. He begins to speak, occasionally pausing slightly while he changes arms.
“But there is another reason to train so hard. My opponent for this weeks Odium is Jason Vieira. Now apparently this guy is the main man in WFWF these days. He is main event in one of the biggest shows of the year. Many people within the company believe that I have no chance because since coming back I haven’t excelled myself. Well you see I want those people to cast your minds back to Odium a couple of weeks ago when I defeated the man who is also main event of SuperBrawl. What I’m trying to say is that I have proven myself that I am better than what is being paraded around as the best these days. Jason Vieira when I beat you this week I will show the world that I am still the best there is in this company. I am aware of the fact that you will be no pushover. I am aware that I will have to put in a decent performance in order to beat you but you need to be aware of who I am. You and everyone else for that matter need to know just what I can do and what I have gone through in this company. I have ripped my neck to shreds with barbwire in this company, I have plunged eighty feet to the floor crushing multiple ribs in this company. I have been burned and electrocuted in this company. What I am saying is this; I have been through hell here in WFWF. I have seen almost everything. I have been involved in owner disputes, I have been cheated and I have always come back for more. My blood is ingrained in WFWF and that will never changed. I am called a legend for a reason. I am not going to let someone get the better of me just because they are named as the main event. You are not main event until the fans chant your name no matter what bull **** you say to them. You are not in the main event until you can walk up to some guy in the front row and insult this state he lives in, his hairstyle, his dress sense and even his mother and he will break into a smile just glad that a wrestler of your status has seen the need to insult him. You are not the main event until you can put your name on the marquee and you can guarantee that the arena will be sold out. I am that guy. I am what it is to be the main event. I epitomise the phrase. Being the top guy is not about championships. I remember a long time when a certain Johnny Michaels and myself used to steal the show night after night but we were not ‘champions’. We were what the crowd wanted to see but we weren’t on last like the main event should be. But you see that’s not what the main event is about either. Nowadays it is words thrown around to suggest someone is the best. Now people consider themselves the main event because one time they came on last on a show. Jason Vieira you are good…but you are not the main event. Odium, I am going to prove so. I am going to show that in order to be considered the best you have to go with the best. You have to face the best and you have to beat the best and Vieira believe it or not…I am the best. Well ok lets not be too cocky I am one of the best. Certainly I am one of the best you will face in your preparations for the big show but please don’t make a fatal mistake. Do no under any circumstances take our match as a warm up. Do not think that I am a practice match. As far as you’re concerned this should be the biggest match you will wrestle. This should be your SuperBrawl.”
Master of Destruction puts the weight down. He walks over to an area of the gym where there are no machines. He looks into one of the many mirrors. After taking a drink from his bottle of water, he begins to talk again, this time getting gradually louder and angrier.
“But you know what, training… can’t really be doing with this right now. I think I’ll just leave it there and I think I’ll just wait patiently until Odium when I will get you back Alex Sean. You and your buddies want to jump me three on one well that’s all well and good because now I know what I am up against. Now I remember what you are really like Alex and now I know what I need to do. You are going to be using underhand tactics and you are going to fight dirty well my ‘friend’ you should know that I built a career on fighting dirty. From this week onwards you will see the old Master of Destruction; a man who did what he wanted and when he wanted. A man who would cut every corner possible in order to get a victory. You will see a Master of Destruction who would use himself as a weapon willingly to win matches and a man to whom pain was only a four letter word. Alex Sean…The Anointed…you have awoken me. Think about it…”
He covers his face with the towel, wiping the build-up of sweat away. After a couple of seconds he slides the towel down looking straight into the mirror with a smile, not his usual cocky smile but a slightly sinister one. He then speaks in a slow, unbecoming drawl.
“…Just think about it!”
He then puts the towel back around his neck and throws the water bottle on the floor before swaggering out of the gym, sneering at the other people who look put out by his presence and indeed exit from the room.

OOC: Definately a step in the right direction IMO. Just a quick not btw, the "think about it" quote is significant because that was a catchphrase of mine in my first run and the point of this RP was that I was going back to my 'old self' since Alex and the Anointed were around in my early run. Enjoy. Any replies are welcomed but not neccessary.
