Intensity takes the form of several cracks of blinding illumination, dazzling their way through a slightly darkened room and lying upon the face of Morgan Warner. He squints his closed eyes once, twice, trying to block out the light that rudely invades his peaceful slumber. The organic blinds his eyelids make fail to keep the light from intruding in through the darkness of sleep, so he turns and stuffs his face in the rather coarse pillow of his hotel bed. Very few moments pass by as Morgan struggles to find a blissful place of rest when another distraction brings him from his peace. This time, it comes in the form of a low, guttural snort. Removing his face from the uncomfortable pillow, Morgan looks to his left in the direction of the disturbance. There, lying in the most awkward position with her face stuffed in a pillow and her hips raised in the air, Morgan sees his older sister snoring heavily in the bed next to his own.
Suddenly, the raven-haired woman falls over in her bed, landing on her back in a more comfortable position. The loud rumbling of snores continues, grating on Morgan‘s barely-awake mind and he soon decides something has to be done.
The younger brother grasps the coarse pillow from his hotel bed and hops over onto his sister, straddling her with his legs on either side of her waist.
Meg wakes, staring the devious chocolate orbs of her younger brother, gasping at the sudden weight upon her.
Meg:
”What the…”
Before Meg can complete her thought, Morgan bashes her in the face with the hotel pillow. He laughs loudly after the shot, feeling victorious over his oblivious sister. She doesn‘t stay oblivious for long, as she quickly pushes her weaker younger brother over and completely off the bed. He lands with a loud ‘thud‘ and an audible “Ow!”.
Meg:
”Do you mind telling me what the hell you were just doing?”
The honest anger throws Morgan off guard as he rises to his feet, clutching a bump that‘s beginning to grow on the back of his head from the fall.
Morgan:
”Chill out, Meg. I was just trying to have an innocent little pillow fight with you. Isn‘t that what brothers and sisters are supposed to do?”
Meg:
”No Morgan. Little ditzy girls have pillow fights during their stupid little sleepovers. Which, in your case, that‘s okay for you. But, I‘m not a ditzy little girl.”
Morgan shakes his head as his sister slams her head back down into her pillow, in an attempt to find sleep again.
Morgan:
”You might want to stop being so lazy because we‘ve got a match against Kyzer this week at Odium. We‘re really gonna have our work cut out for us, sis.”
Meg begins to yell in Morgan‘s direction:
”What? You mean, both of us are going up against Kyzer in a handicap match? So at Superbrawl they make us fight eachother and now we‘re pairing up together? I wish they would make up their minds. Either keep us as partners or let us beat the hell out of eachother. And Morgan, don‘t ever call me ‘sis‘ again.”
Morgan:
”First of all, don‘t yell at me about it. It‘s not my fault you slept with the guy and he hates you…and hates me for being related to you. Anyways, shouldn‘t you be glad that you‘re finally getting the chance to be in the ring with him? I mean, after all the difficulty you‘ve been through because of him, shouldn‘t you be looking forward to shutting him up once and for all? I, personally, am quite happy the two of us are teaming up against him. Not only does he deserve to have someone stand up to him and knock the ego out of him, but he sets very bad examples for children that watch WFWF.”
Meg:
”Oh, and you do? Need I remind you that you‘re finishing move is grabbing other guy‘s crotches? And by the way, if you ever lay your hand on my vagina in a match or out again, I will kill you.”
Morgan:
”Hey! It wasn‘t exactly a treat for me either! Besides, I got caught up in the moment at Superbrawl, I thought I had you and Yukio beat.”
Meg:
”So, are you planning on doing that to Kyzer in our match?
Morgan shrugs:
”I don‘t know, maybe.”
Meg chuckles:
”Well, if you do the move for pleasure then you might as well pass. Kyzer‘s hung like a four year old boy.”
Morgan scrunches his nose in disgust:
Eww, and you touched it.”
The seemingly joking words of Morgan cut through to Meg in a more harsh way than intended as she nearly tackles her younger brother and shoves him against the solid hotel wall, eliciting a groan of pain from the younger man.
The usually beautiful russet eyes of Meg suddenly turn to narrow slits of blackened rage, piercing terror into the widening orbs of her younger brother. Her breath comes out in rugged frustrated puffs and she speaks slowly and harshly.
Meg:
”Morgan, don‘t ever let me hear you say anything about my past with Michael Kyzer. It is none of your business and it is nobody in the WFWF‘s business. It’s a mistake I‘ve made that I can never take back and I will probably regret it for the rest of my life. I would prefer to never think about it again so I would appreciate if you never bringing it up again, understand?”
Morgan‘s lower lip quivers in fear at the abrupt anger from his older sister. He swallows a knot that formed in his throat and nods his head quickly, implying that he will forever keep anything consisting of Meg and Michael Kyzer‘s relationship from coming out of his mouth.
Morgan:
”I-I uh, I‘m sorry. I…didn‘t know it would bother you that much.”
Meg:
”Well, it does. He was sort of like a father figure to me in a strange sort of way and…”
Morgan interrupts:
”And then you slept with him? You became his personal little slut? Meg, that is NOT much of a father figure…”
This time, it‘s Meg‘s turn to interrupt.
”You‘re one to talk, Morgan. Do you remember what you wrote in my diary about you and your father? You‘re relationship with him wasn‘t too far off from mine with Kyzer.”
A pain once buried deep inside the heart of Morgan explodes within him, prying through his eyes as waterfalls. His gaze turns deadly, directed straight at his older sister.
”How dare you say that. First of all, I was a young child who was taken advantage of by a…monster and a witch who was supposed to be my mother! That was not my fault! You, on the other hand, were nothing more than a self-pitying whore that wanted to please her boss any way you could to get to where you are right now, sis! And you try to blame it all on him! Like it wasn‘t you who threw herself on the boss, the man that signs your checks every week. It got you what a failed marriage with Johnny Arsenic or a losing streak feud with Cherri Bomb couldn‘t. It got you fame and a WFWF Championship belt.
This always has to be about you, Meg! Everyone feel sorry for you because Arsenic broke your heart, because Cherri Bomb kicked your ass, because your Grandmother died and it got you more famous, because you slept with Kyzer willingly, because your younger brother bailed you out of jail for being the insane bitch that you are!”
Suddenly, Morgan throws his arms in the air in frustration. His sudden vocal burst of anger taking his sister by surprise.
”Look at us! We aren‘t opponents, Meg! We are partners this time and we act like bitter enemies! How can we possibly stand a chance against Kyzer if we can‘t get along?!”
Meg:
”It‘s because we‘re brother and sister, Morgan. It‘s natural for us to argue like this, and with what we‘ve been through and all that‘s happened in the past, it‘s natural for us to feel bitter towards one another at times. I know that we‘re not opponents, I know that we‘re not enemies…and at Odium when we face Kyzer, we‘ll prove that. We‘ll make him know what he‘s getting himself into when he goes up against the Meggalicious Champion and her Morgalicious brother. There is no way he can survive through the both of us.”
Morgan
”I…love you, Meg. I honestly couldn‘t ask for a better sister.”
Morgan goes in for a hug but Meg ignores her brother as she walks through the hotel room, approaching a dresser and pulling out a bag from it. She opens the bag, taking out her Meggalicious Championship Belt. She also removes a small white rag from the bag, sits down on her bed and begins to soothe it over the sparkling gold of the belt. Morgan takes a seat on the bed opposite his sister and watches as she shines the belt he had a chance to win at Superbrawl.
Meg:
”You know, I can‘t help but think of how you and Yukio lost at Superbrawl when you tried to win my Meggalicious Championship. I wasn‘t really that worried that I‘d lose to either of you. But, you know…a true brother wouldn‘t have fought his sister for the belt at all. It makes me wonder whether you‘re actually a good brother or not…”
Morgan huffs in frustration but takes offense to his sister‘s accusation:
”HEY! I am too a good brother, I‘m the best brother you‘ll ever have…”
Meg:
”Prove it.”
Morgan:
”What? How?”
Meg:
”Go get me some coffee…and a bagel.”
Morgan shrugs his shoulders at the request. It‘s not really a big deal to him so he leaves the hotel room and begins his search for a bagel and coffee, while thinking of his sister and all that she’s ever said and done to him. Now seems like the time to contemplate whether or not he really belongs in this place, because he can’t seem to think of a reason to stay.
OOC: A big sorry goes out to Kyzer because I was just very unmotivated while writing this RP...so it is THE suckage. I'd also like to thank him for giving Meg and I the chance to go up against him.
