CBT puts International Champion on leave.
WFWF would like to inform the WFWF fans, that Wayne McGurk will not be in action, when WFWF comes to Chicago for Felo-de-se on 2/3. The decision was made by WFWF Owner, Tha CBT, and the reason given was to protect Wayne McGurk as there is a contract over his head. Very little is known outside of this, but it appears Wayne won't be in action untill the final FDS, before our next PPV. Obo, who beat Miguel Sanchez this past Friday, to advance to the finals of the WFWF Heavyweight title tourney, is still in need of a opponent to crown a new champion. The title situation right now is hectic, as Kurt Burton weaseled his way into a title opportunity, declaring he wasn't beating fairly at Crimson Existence. And right now it is very much in the air, who will be in the main event of WFWF's next ppv, to crown a champion. What we do know however is, Kurt Burton will meet Obo in Chi-Town, in a No-DQ match. Where he'll get one last chance to fight for the WFWF title. If Kurt wins it, he's in it. But if he loses, he may very well be struggling for a spot on the PPV.
