We open on the outside of a bar, The Devil‘s Drink. The windows are covered up, and its impossible to see inside, but on the outside we can clearly see that this is a biker bar. Lines and lines of bikes are parked outside. The noise from the inside of the bar is amazing, it cuts through the night air and fills the entire area with shouts and music. Suddenly a man appears from the street, his back to us. He looks up at the name of the bar, before he walks up to the door, lights a cigarette, and walks in. The noise is immediately silenced as the entire bar turns to look at entrant. The man makes his way straight to the bar and takes a seat.
Dane: Bartender, over here now.
The bartender, a very large robust man with a sweaty black t-shirt and grimy jeans on, sneers at Dane. The bartender makes his way over to Dane in a slow manner as every eye on the bar stays firmly on Dane, though he seems completely oblivious to this fact.
Bartender: What can I do for you?
Dane: Get me a shot a tequila and a glass of whatever you got on tap.
The bartender lumbers his way back to the other side of the bar and gets Dane’s drinks and brings them back to him. Dane slams the shot and slams the glass back on the bar. He takes a quick hit from his beer and than sits back in his chair.
Bartender: Anything else than?
Dane: Nah, I think that will be just about it.
Bartender: Than with the those two drinks its going to be….$42.54.
Dane lets out a laugh.
Dane: You’re a funny cat, now give me my real total
The bartenders expression changes from a sneer to a wry smile.
Bartender: You are right, your total is $46.54
Dane’s expression goes from a smile, to a frown, before he lets out another laugh and settles on a smirk for an expression.
Dane: Well than I guess I’ll have to pay that, just give me a minute let me put on a little music first.
The bartender gives Dane on odd look but before he can say anything, Dane is up and at the jukebox cycling through the songs. Dane finally settles on a song and pops in a few quarters. “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis suddenly begins to play and Dane saunters his way back to the bar. Dane reaches into his back pocket and pulls out his wallet. He pulls out a huge wad of bills from it and flashes it in front of the bartender.
Dane: Now how much did you say that bill came to?
Bartender: Well looks like the price of tequila and beer just shot through the roof and it looks like your bill was an even $100.
Dane peels a hundred off the wad and puts it into the outstretched hand of the bartender, the bartender starts to pull his hand back but Dane grabs the Bartender by the wrist.
Dane: You know, that price seems a bit high.
Bartender: Well that’s the way it is, so deal with it.
Dane rips the Bartender forward and slams his head into the bar knocking him completely unconscious he than pries the hundred back out of the bartenders hand and replaces it in his wallet. Dane begins to walk for the door, before two big biker guys step in front of the door.
Biker 1: We don’t take kindly to people not paying their bills in this place
Biker 2: So you better fork that hundred right back over.
Dane laughs loudly and just smiles at them
Dane: You know this is my favorite part of the song.
Biker 2: Boy, just give us the da……
The biker doesn’t get a chance to finish his sentence and Dane delivers a vicious head butt into the Biker’s face sending him sprawling to the ground, the other biker begins reaching for the knife in his pocket but Dane blasts him with a vicious right to the jaw sending him flying through the air and landing on a table. Dane cracks his neck and than slowly turns around.
Dane: No please nobody else get up, I’ll show myself out.
With that Dane turns around and kicks open the door and begins laughing as he walks out and the scene fades.
