OFFICIAL NORTH CAROLINA FINDINGS

So my girlfriend went out to purchase a flat-iron today in High Point and I figured it would be an opportunity to go out figure hunting. I really don't pay attention to anything out there right now except Basic sytle figures, so bare with me. Here is what I found worth noting:

North Main Wal-Mart:
+remains of a case of Basic 3
-everyone in the series except Kahli
-no 1/1000's

South Main Wal-Mart:
+looked to be 2-3 cases worth of Basic 3
-one Kahli
-no Jericho's
-no 1/1000's

High Point Target:
+looked to have the whole Wrestlemania Heritage collection
+2 each of Basic 2-packs 3

High Point Kmart:
+nothing worth mentioning

I did score a 1/1000 Basic 2 Rey Mysterio (light blue version) in Salisbury though! It is numbered 446!

Today I went to Target (Apex, NC) = Nothing new, noticed Flex Force w/ accessories are now $8.98, but I dont care for them.

TRU (Cary, NC) = Nothing new. Almost bought Edge/Big Show 2-Pack on pure impulse. But why do I really need another Big Show?

Target (Cary, NC) = Nothing new. They had an R-Truth Elite with no eyeballs. Looked like Undertaker rolling his eyes back, all white, no pupils. lol.

Walmart (Cary, NC) = Nothing new. Saw a Randy Orton Elite with a big, blue paint smudge on his forehead.

Walmart (Holly Springs, NC) = Been waiting for this place to restock for like a month and a half... Nothing on the shelves except about 5 figures so I figured it was the same ol' poope... BUT, those 5 figures were these:


Chris Jericho - #584/1000


Chris Jericho - #90/1000


Edge - #653/1000


Edge - #714/1000


Stone Cold Steve Austin #715/1000



So the thing is, I dont really collect these belted figures but I know I wanted to keep a Jericho... HOLLER.

Nice finds juice! So you found all of those figures in one shot (one place)? What do you plan on doing with all of them?

I went out and done a little figure hunting yesterday (Friday) in Winston-Salem. Here is a run-down of what I found worth mentioning:

Wal-Mart on 150:
+Basic 3 2-packs.
-4 of each.
+Some Signature Series (didn't pay attention to who they had, but I think it was all of them).

TRU:
*The wrestling figure section looked like it had been hit by a hurricane (no, not Helms), so bare with me.
+Both Classic Superstars Best of and Series 1.
-I seen all of the figures from both series.
+1 Classic Superstars Steve Blackman (I mention this since I have only seen two on shelves out of all the places that I have looked).
+What looked like 1 Classic Superstars Barbarian and 1 Classic Superstars Warlord.
+All Scale 3-packs.
-2 Undertakers and 1 John Cena (the package was half-opened and in very bad condition overall...I wanted this set, but I passed on this particular on due to condition)(the cards on these figures are flimsy as hell...).
+Restock of Basic 2 2-packs.
+That is all worth mentioning other than the usual shelf-warming merchandise.

*I was getting frustrated at this point, so I decided to roll the dice and check out F.Y.E. at Hanes Mall...

F.Y.E.:
+Basic Series 2.
-1 case.
-2-3 light blue Rey Mysterio's if anyone is looking for one.
-I scored a 1/1000 Jack Swagger #526 (this was my only pick-up of the day and brings my number of 1/1000's in my collection up to 7)

Wal-Mart on Hanes Mall Boulevard:
+Basic 3 2-packs
-I believe there were 2-3 of each
+various UFC figures (didn't pay attention to who they had)

K-Mart:
*hardly anything at all
+Basic Series 2
-1 C.M. Punk and 1 Mark Henry (no 1/1000)
*I asked the employee working toys if there were any 1/1000 Basic 2 figures put out, and she said she didn't notice any...there has got to be a 1/1000 Punk somewhere...

If you are looking to pick up some of the Basic 3 2-packs, then check your local Wal-Mart as they should have them in stock by now.

I was in Winston earlier tonight and the weirdest thing happened...

I stopped in at Kmart and took a look at the figures that they had in stock expecting to be disappointed. They only had a Basic 2 C.M. punk that was there Friday (the Mark Henry they had is now gone). However, something caught my eye...there was a lone 1/1000 Wrestlemania Heritage Randy Orton figure. It was the only Wrestlemania Heritage figure there and I doubt they got a case in between today and last Friday. I'm guessing that it was one that had been hidden and the women working toys Friday night found it? Anyway, I went ahead and picked it up to grow my 1/1000 collection to 8. It is #260!

Nice pick-up on the Rey! It is far better than the dark blue version. I take it they didn't have any 1/1000's?

By the way, I forgot to mention that I stopped back by the Winston F.Y.E. Monday. They only had one of the three light blue Rey Mysterio's left. They had everyone in the series still except Jack Swagger (which was the 1/1000 that I picked up last Friday). I thought I should also mention that the Mattel Basic figures are $11.99 a piece there. That is a bit steep in my opinion but it is better than paying the ridiculous prices that they had on Jakks stuff.

Has anyone found any of those Flex Force figures with the belt around here? I keep reading about them in other findings thread, but have yet to see one for myself.

Any recent Basic 3 sightings? I am getting extremely frustrated. lol.

Same here.. And I checked TRU (Cary, NC) today, they have Basic 2 now... but that's it. Those WM Heritages are still shelf-warming.

Thomasville K-Mart had Series 3 Cryme Tyme and Edge/Big Show. Also had all of series 3 basic minus Jericho, and NO elites.
