The Wrestling Observer is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment has released Marcus Cor Von (aka Monty Brown) from his deal.
Now with TNA getting 2 hours for Impact, and Monty Brown now being a former WWE employee... you'd think TNA would jump all over this opportunity to not only sign him, but push him to the world title... something he should have been given on his last TNA run. With TNA's lighter schedule, a Monty Brown return makes so much sense it's frightening... thoughts?

I was never a fan of his while in ECW, but I did enjoy him in TNA.
He needs some work in the ring but on the mic he is golden, he could be a big star one day.

Meh, I wouldnt really mind it. His last run in TNA was decent, but id be all in if TNA would give him a bigger push.

This is one former WWE guy that I WANT TNA to sign. Monty Brown has always had a ton of potential. He might not be great in the ring but he isn't as bad as people make him out to be either.

I love Monty Brown. He was my favorite wrestler in TNA until Christian came. TNA better ing sign him. They sign all of these losers that nobody wants to see but Monty Brown is great. He can put on okay matches and he has more charisma than most of the roster.

No, he's got alot of crapgoing on (raising 5 kids) & has his personal training place so I doubt he'll come back to wrestling quickly.

Monty Brown made a name from himself IN TNA and not in WWECW, Would sorta be weird seeing him in TNA again, but I would like to see more Main Event type wrestlers come in.

I'd be happy if he just faded into obscurity.

i really hope so...monty has a lot of impressive potential that he didn't get the chance at in either of his two runs as in tna he was just starting to get his own and wwe never gave him the shot...if he was to return to tna, this could be his run. i thought he had family issues though?

To be fair, if Cor Von wasn't on a sabbatical due to a family death, I could see him in some role in ECW. Probably Punk's first challenger, prior to Burke.
However, if Brown is done with WWE, I wouldn't mind him popping up back in TNA. It may very well equal a run with the belt.

It'll be funny if he does show up & win the belt because WWE fans would be like "OMGZ TNA TOOKS ANOTHER STAR OF OURS & PUTS TEH TITL3 ON HIM. TEY **** BILD THEIR OWN STARZ"
