I know, but I usually think of New York City inhabitants when I think of New Yorkers, lol. But you are right. LOL I think all New Yorkers have kinda weird views of who exactly is a New Yorker. I think if you don't live in NYC, Long Island or West Chester, you really can't call yourself a New Yorker. Even though technically, someone from Upstate NY is a "New Yorker" I just feel its to cut off from the real NY. Its kinda like a whole seperate state I agree with that.

Long Island people are Islanders not New Yorkers and if the call themsleves New Yorkers it should have more ***** then Barry Bonds.
New Yorkers are people from the 5 boroughs that is it period.
I dont want to hear technical anything. Upstate is Canada as far as I am concerned and belive me tons of people feel that way.

Brooklyn and Queens are on Long Island. So that makes no sense. I am a half hour train ride from Queens, and im in Manhattan all the time, soon to be there 4 days a week for school and your gonna tell me im not a New Yorker? OK man...Whatevvvveerrrr you say If your in the NYC Metropolitan area (NYC,LI, Westchester) your a NYer. P.S I do agree with your claim of Upstate being Canada. I feel the same way

If you are in area code 516 and over, you are officially an Islander.

If you are in area code 516 and over, you are officially an Islander. There is no clear line in the sand so to speak. I have friends on Long Island who NEVER go into NYC, there lives are centered around LI. I would give you, they are an Islander. Whenever I take one of them to the city they know nothing, can't even figure out which way is up or down, don't know the subway system AT ALL. Don't know what streets stuffs on. They are tourists basically in the little they know me. Than theres someone like me who is soon to be going to a school there, goes there a lot on weekends, knows how to get around easily, doesn't have to look at maps to use subways. Not that I really care, cuz I don't need to be defined by someone on the internet, I KNOW what I am. But I don't see how if your in the city 4 days a week, which I will be in 2 months. And you go there plenty of weekends, which would make it more like 5, 6 days a week, how that makes you an Islander. Its the same as people that just move to Manhattan from another state, are they AUTOMATICALLY a New Yorker? Its more about where your life is centered, and mine is DEFINITELY not centered in LI. In fact its soon to be solely based in Manhattan. So don't generalize all people by there area code. I know this is off topic so I am done, I just wanted to prove my point.

I didn't cancel my order just yet but I'm still going to try Times Square sometime this week for MVP. Hopefully there'll still be some left.

I couldn't deal with living outside NY. Although it could be interesting to experience a different culture id go nuts. I love the fact I can be at like 6 different beaches and Manhattan all within an hour. What are you going to school to become?

I would have been entering my Senior year in America, but instead I'll have to redo my Junior year there, as the ciriculum is different. I personally don't like Manhattan. I'm just sick of it. I've done almost everything there is to do here, and it's time for something different so I'm going to move in with my family there.

Just got back from Times Square. All they had left from WM23 was Kennedy & Burke( few of each). I grabbed the last Punk. Sigh, no MVP..Searched everywhere for him but no dice.
AD26 HIT TIMES SQUARE!! Only had two Sharmell T packs left though. Didn't interest me.
If anybody finds MVP at Times Square, PLEASE hide me one. Thanks!
Almost forgot..I snuck into the back section of TRU. They had some WGTT packs back there but even more interesting..some WM23 BENOITS!! Guess they hid them in the back. I grabbed one to see what they'd say at the counter, but figured I already had him so didn't. I put one back on the pegs just for the hell of it.

Must have just missed them. will hide those two-packs for you if I see them. might check KB tomorrow. Oh and yeah, I really don't like that Elijah. I passed on ECW1 months ago in hopes of a better one, but this one is even worse. Guess I'll just continue waiting. LMFAO, as soon as I got home I see Punk has shipped from TRU.com. ing lovely. They could have at least shipped MVP or Punk instead, which I didn't just get, but they had to send the one I just bought. I doubt they'll ever ship MVP. I'll just return the extra Punk.

After 20 + years in New York, I'm pretty sick of it myself but kudos to you guys. Good luck in your new schools. I know the CUNY system pretty well so WOODMO.. good luck to you especially.
As for figures, I went to the TRU in Douglaston today. They did have some CSDA3 Jake and Lugers left. No AD26 or WM singles. Here's to hoping TRU.com doesn't screw us.

The only people ever to make the comment that Queens or Brooklyn are on Long Island are Long Island people. That shows desperation in my opinion for Islanders wanting to be real New Yorkers. Ask Brooklyn and Queens residents if they know/care/acknowledge that geographic technicalities show they can be considered part of Long Island and they will tear you up in a New York minute.
Nobody in the 5 boroughs ever considers Brooklyn or Queens as Long Island. Nobody.
Long Island people have a fascination with city people. Im not knocking anyone personally,Im not the type of person to ridicule so thats not my point but has been my experience and everybody else from the 5 boroughs that I have discussed this with, that Long Island people are mesmerized with people from the Boroughs. They want so bad to be part of the city so they come up with things to make them feel apart of it like wearing T-shit=ts with a 631 or 516 on them or saying Queens is Long Island. If a Brooklyn person for example saw a person in the city wearing a 631 Tshirt they would have a big laugh over it. Fact!
