This is histerical for so many reasons. It's hysterical because it's TNA trying to offer some younger people a chance at a dream job?

This is histerical for so many reasons. It's hysterical because it's TNA trying to offer some younger people a chance at a dream job? It's funny because any professional wrestling company gets tapes and has their eyes on talent, as opposed to posting an open casting call. Guys within the company laughed at this idea. If TNA scouted talent on the indy circuit, then they'd know exactly who they wanted to sign, something they did when they hijacked Joe, Shelley, Sabin, Homicide, and Shaun Hernandez. Asking a bunch of random people who want to pay $200 to try out is not the right way to do things, especially if there is no developmental territory to send them to.

I agree with that, but who is to say they aren't going to have some sort of wrestling school open or something, we have no idea. This is in it's very early stages.

Well so much for that idea I guess they realized "wait a minute, we don't have anywhere to send these guys..." Don't get me wrong, I would like to be trained to become a wrestler... and trying out for TNA would be bad ass... Everyone has got to start somewhere and what better place to start then the default Number 2 Promotion in NA...

Considering some of the talent thought the idea was ridiculous with no developmental program or school, I'd say it's good they've kayboshed the idea. Seriously, TNA can't be this ing stupid to have an open casting call when there are literally a hundred non-ROH contracted or non-WWE contracted guys they could and should be looking at. Chuck Taylor Ricochet The Iron Saints Billy Roc Joey Ryan Scott Lost B-Boy(yes he's retiring, but a shot at TNA might stop that) Cheech Eddie Kingston Chris Bosh(yes he's on a hiatus, but is returning) Sabu Rob Van Dam Chris Jericho Booker T The Sandman Monty Brown Archadia Azrieal Scorpio Sky Brandon Thomaselli Kory Chevous Hallowicked Lince Dorado Cloudy Brain Damage Tank That's 27 guys, including one tag team TNA should be scouting. But instead they'd rather have an open try out for guys who have no exposure, and likely no skill.

I can agree with The Iron Saints, Eddie Kingston and Brandon Thomaselli... but i'd also add the following to that list: - Detox from PWU ( I know him on a personal level and think he's mix in with TNA well ) - Luke Hawk from PWU and WSX - Devon Moore from PWU - Lucky from PWU - Briscoes ( If they can get them away from ROH ) TNA has as much "name value" as it's gonna get, so no more "WWE rejects". They should work on building the homegrown talent and bring in some independant wrestlers that haven't seen the spotlight yet. - Triple S

I agree with this, however I'm not sure why the following names were listed since they have likely been trying to get them in for a while. Sabu Rob Van Dam Chris Jericho Booker T The Sandman Monty Brown Sabu? I'm guessing he'll be back very soon. RVD? No doubt they want him. I bet he goes there after a long hiatus. Jericho? From what I hear they have been talking and Jericho will be making a comeback soon. I wouldn't be shocked of he debuted on the first two hour show or if an announcement was made. There's no doubt he'll go to TNA when he makes a comeback. Booker T? What's his contractual status with WWE? I bet they're trying to get him in ASAP. The Sandman? I wouldn't be surprised to see him there at some point. Monty Brown? I'm not so sure. Does he want to continue to wrestle? Does TNA want him back? I heard there was heat from both sides on his way to WWE last year.
