Apparently WWE will be releasing DVD's for Macho Man and Sting in late 2008. Hopefully this means that CS figures will be on there way. I mean I never expected WWE to release a DVD of either. Here is the list of WWE DVD's coming out in 2008.
Here is an updated list of upcoming WWE DVD releases in 2008 according to the Wrestling Observer:

Haha, yeah I just told my brother about them releasing a Savage DVD and he said the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised either and the name "MACHO MADNESS" would fit it being a "self destruction" DVD. Still I think the fact that they are even putting a DVD out on him could mean that a CS figure will be on it's way. I have hope anyway. |

Those are just DVDs of WWE throwing its library around. Don't expect too much participation from Savage and Sting.

True, but I was thinking more of the DVD, and not wrestling figures. Savage and McMahon still sound like they're on bad terms, and I think it'll take a lot more than a DVD release to draw him in to dealing with the company. Not to mention, if it is an anti-Savage DVD, I don't see how we would ever get a Randy Savage figure, despite what happened with Warrior. |

Even if we don't get Savage I do think something as simple as a DVD could get Sting signed to a CS figure. It's not like he's on bad terms or anything with WWE and he can't stay in TNA forever.

Yeah, Sting should be an easy catch.
Even if he doesn't appear on WWE television, a nice, lucrative contract to have a classic wrestling figure made doesn't seem out of the question.

in the end, it all depends on if sting participates in the DVD.
WWE can make the DVD without sting, just by interviewing other people, and cronicalizing his life up until the end of WCW, because they own all the footage, which means no CS fig.
If sting does participate in the DVD, then Jeremy will most likley ask to talk to Sting in order to sign him for CS.
what I wanna know, is if they will mention TNA on the DVD. if anything, sting probably wont sign onto the DVD interview if he cant mention TNA in some way.

If WWE profits off of making a Macho Man DVD then I don't see why they wouldn't try to profit off of Macho Man figures too. It would be cool if they addressed the "rumor" that Savage gave it to Steph and even Linda.

His figure however he would get a chunk of change and Vince doesnt want him to make any money. We'll get the DVDs, maybe a Sting figure but we're still not getting a Savage figure for a VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME, if ever |

That's interesting, but I don't think WWE will release a Sting DVD WHILE STING IS SIGNED WITH TNA. That would only entice people (who will like the DVD) to watch TNA to see Sting.

Sting will most likely be leaving TNA around that time anyway so even if it's pushed back a month or two I think it helps the chances of a CS Sting. |

i know after years of this board wanting a savage fig that jakks have taken notice,but i really don't think this will happen.If what reports are true(which i really believe they were)i don't see vince ever letting jakks ever make a fig.I know alot of you don't believe it,but look at who was signed and what they had done to vince business wise and personally like bret knocking his @$$ out and they were signed.
so there has to be some truth to savage dephiling his daughter.
