Does anyone else still buy/collect the old Jakks WWF Bone Crunching Action figures? I still have tons of them. They aren't as good as the ones being made now, but still way better than any others IMO.

Nope i dont, they were before my collecting prime. The only BCA style figs i currently have are a MOC Backlash Booker and Austin. Also i have a Hardcore Holly/Al Snow pack w/head.
Im not too interested in them all that much to be honest although they were pretty damn good for their time.

Yeah, I'm actually rebuilding my collection at the moment. I was up late last night reading the old Ringside Collectible Figure Insider reports from 1999-2000 where it was mentioned BCA was being phased out. Those were really cool to look back on and have me even more interested in BCA figures then I already was. I used to have a huge collection but lost nearly all of them for various reasons, so since the end of summer, I've accumulated a good amount of them. I was able to get my hands on at least 6 or 7 of the box sets as well as individual figures and 2-packs off eBay, spam's BCA sale and (soon to be) WF Classifieds. BCA's are without a doubt my favorite series and I could go on talking about them for days, but yeah, I'm still very interested in them and wish there was more discussion like this on the boards. I'm planning on taking more pictures of my collection as it grows, as I'm still waiting on plenty of figures to arrive in the mail.

I hate BCA's, but my little brother does have some. He buys one once in a while, they are hard to come across around here. I saw a bunch of newer ones at a KB toys going out of buisness a few towns away from me, but i passed on them.

The best years, for the original BCA figures, were in 1996-1999. The newer ones just don't look or feel the same, so I choose not to associate them with the original BCA's.

I think in about 10 to 15 years some of the BCA'S particulary the first series & box sets may be well sort after.

For their time they were awesome figures. Much better than the plastic Hasbro figures before them with limited articulation and the "actions". Now they are **** compared to RA's and DA's.

IMO, the only great Jakks series were Deluxe Aggression and Bone Crunching Action, all the others kinda sucked to me, but no, I don't collect BCA anymore, it's been nearly 10 years since they've stopped making them.

I'm under the impression that BCA's are just the series called bone crunching action. Am i wrong? This thread is leading me to believe that TTL figures are being classified as BCA's. Are these 2 series' now merged together as one?

Well, technically, Jakks released several Backlash series (KB exclusives) with updated repaints of WWF wrestlers well into the year 2000.
The last official year for the main Superstars/2 Tuff/Signature Series was in late 1999.
Speaking of BCA, I just received a bunch of loose figures in the mail today:
Superstars Series 1 Diesel Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior Superstars Series 4 Jerry Lawler 2 Tuff Series 2 D-Lo Brown/Kama Mustafa 2 Tuff Series 5 Viscera/Undertaker

No, you're right, BCA's are Bone Crunching Action but there are new and old classifications for the figures. Here is an example of an old BCA figure from the late 90's: And the newer style, which I don't consider BCA, but more of a BCA/TTL hybrid:

I plan on building up my original BCA's a bit more than they are. I thought they were really cool figures (not at the time...but now for nostalgia). Currently I only have: JR, King, Jacqueline, Goldust, Marlena, Sunny, Bret Hart, Sable, Vince McMahon, Triple H, Chyna, Austin, Debra, Luna, Cornette, Crush, Clarence Mason, Syd & the referee

I have a pretty good sized collection, although I wouldn't say I'm actively collecting right now.
