When I was a kid my mom got me hasbros. The only thing I can remember my dad buying me when I was a kid was this lego set, Out of no where he asked me if I wanted to go to the toy store for something. It was always my mom.

They think it's a big waste of money, but they support me (collecting helps you keep sane)

Mine are supportive. There's a heck of a lot worse things people could be spending money on than figures. If you have an addiction, it might as well be figures, it keep ya out of trouble.

I'm 28 so my mom can't say anything. Life is good. you still live with your parents at that age? Does it matter if he does or not? he said Life is good, so if he is happy then who gives a sh*t where he lives or who with. As for me, Im 19. My dad loathes it! cant stand it, but my brother is an old school rasslin' fan, so he likes looking at my CS figures and even messes about with my newer loose figures (he's 27 by the way). In general, from friends to strangers to family to kids and adults, most people who see my collection love and support it. I am yet to ever hear anyone say a bad thing about it. Most of my friends and family will ring me if they're near a store and let me know who they've got. Its cool. To quote BigDaddyChacon: Life is good

My Mom really doesnt care that much. She will usually take me to TRU and stuff if my Dad isnt around. My Dad is very cool with it. He's always willing to take me out to stores. He'll usally give me some money, But i tend not to ask him much. I usually use the money i have on me. All in all my parents are fine with it.

my dad alwyas kinda harrased me jokingly about it when iw as young. But my mom always said "it's better than doing drugs." So use that as your argument.

Parents, they're pretty supportive. They know it makes me happy, and they know I'm not using money for anything illegal- it's just little pieces of plastic that make me happy. Their train of logic is that if all it takes to make my day is purchasing a fig, it's well worth the 8-10 bucks. RA and AD figures always seem to be the go-to birthday and holiday present.
My sister pokes fun at it, but she's pretty supportive too. The one thing she doesn't like that much is how I've gotten into trying to buy custom figures. We've even talked about putting together a bet where I'd buy her all the materials and see if she could do a custom. I wonder if that'll ever materialize.
My friends, it never really came up.
