My oldman dont aprove of this figure collecting and my well my mums she dont care, then she does. Aswell sumtimes they would give me cash 2 buy them, but i really pay 4 all of them!!!!

my parents are cool with it and will even go by a store and pick up a figure if I ask them to.
they've always been supportive...at first my mom didn't like me watch wrestling but now she's cool with it.
they think it's good I'm at least interested in something.

When I was super into it my mom hated it and my dad would have rathered that I didn't collect but he supported me anyways and lent money to buy them.
But I'm really on the outs as far as collecting goes now. If I see a cool figure I'll get it but I have alot of other stuff to buy.

Wow. So many lucky kids with supportive parents. I used to collect when I was 8-10 (TTL, and I'm 13 now). But now I still collect, but my parents don't know about it. I think my dad would chop off my ass cheeks if he knew. Even before, they hated it. My dad will watch wrestling sumtimes, but they'd ground me saying " Oh, Since you're such a baby with your dolls, I guess you're not grown up enough to use the comp." or something like that. Sadly, sometime soon, my dad is going to realize why I always want to go to target and split up with him. I can't go to TRU.... only toys there, nothing else. At Target I can say I'm just looking around. I'm thinking of telling them... but I'm scared....

lol my mother thinks my collection is gona be a gold mind so i suess shes cool with it my dad thinks im like a 5 year old but i have been addicted to them sonce im that age i just cant stop collecting.

my mums kool with it i mean she bought me the rsr elimination chamber for my birthday and she sometimes asks me do you need any figs for your too many she does sometimes say why not seel some so you have more room which kind of annoys me but otherwise she is kool with it all really

My parents don't really mind, although if i ask for too many they start to wonder a bit. My mum only disagrees because i have them on display, i'll do a figure match, and leave them on the floor forgetting to pick them up.

My dad's cool with it. But he gets golf clubs so we rip on each other, my mum is cool with it and my grandma is the best. Really cool about it and doesn't mind if we stop and go into woolies. Also there is a thread like this every two weeks. Really need another? |

My dad used to criticise me all the time for buying figures, saying "So what's the difference between these guys and what exactly do they do that makes them so special?" But he is a hypocrite because he has 2 or 3 guitars and 3 or 4 bikes and you would think that one of each would be enough. Me and him reached a deal that I buy one per month because he doesn't want me spending all my money on them. However I buy the one while he's with me and then buy others from the net without him knowing during the week so they arrive before he gets home.  I don't spend all my money on them though, it's been a while since i found reason too as the figure selection in my town is crap and I don't want to order too much off the net or he'll wonder where the money went and have a go at me. |
