Let me start off by saying that I'm not really fond of the bitching and moaning about Jakks whenever they miss a back design on someone's attire or give someone the wrong parts choice. I know Jakks has their whole marketing excuse, which is fine with me. I understand they aren't going to give 100% on every figure they release by now, and I expect it.
But the way they do all the Booker T figures seem odd to me...AD 14, Treacherous Trios 2 and RA 24 Booker T are the only Booker T figures that have his tattoos. I just got the newest Adrenaline set in the mail today with Sharmell, the new boot mold, the new scan...I thought we would finally have the perfect Booker T figure, but Jakks didn't give him his tattoos either.
It's not like it bugs the hell out of me or anything, but I just find it odd how 3 of his RA figures and all of his DA figures have his tattoos, yet his other figures don't. It's not even a matter of copyright laws or anything. If Jakks didn't want to do his tattoos at all, then that's fine...but why release some figures with them and others without?
Just seems stupid to me.

Yea, that's bothered me with Booker, too. When they have put them on, except for RA24, they've been way too far down on the arm. I also remember the R3 figure with just the sun tattoo.

They did it because everyone is gonna buy the set anyway because Booker has a new scan and it's Sharmell's first figure. Now in a few series they will release another Booker T with the same head scan but it'll finally have it's tattoo's. Jakks hardly EVER gets it right the first time which is why I'm surprised some figures like ECW 1 Sandman came out so perfect.

That Sandman was so far superior to the DA one, it's ridiculous . . . . It's always been a bit wierd to me about Booker's tat's as well . . . . but as the rest of you have said, not surprising. |

Its probably a parts issue. They keep finding more older parts and decide to use them up, but either way it doesnt make sense.

The only fig of booker I have outta the 3 that has the tat is the adrenaline pack with eddie G. Its burried behind a shelf so I dont remember the number on it. Missing tats piss me off to no extent.Missplaced tats are even worse. When orton had his left arm tat on his shoulder that used to urk the hell outta me, but they finally got it right.

Someone like Christian, for instance, never had his tattoo on a Jakks figure. But since Booker T has had them in the past, he should have them on every figure from then on out. Why he doesn't is the same reason why Batista got a new head scan in AD 23 and it hasn't been used since... And that's no mystery... It's just Jakks being lazy.
And it's like Undisputed Kid said. With a new scan and Sharmell, people will want this set any way. So maybe in, like, RA 34 or something they'll release another Booker who is essentially the same only has his tats. Or maybe not. I don't know. The only Booker T figure I have that actually has his tats is the one that came with Kurt Angle and Mark Jindrak in TT. Since that replaced Luther Reigns and had a crappy sleeveless shirt and was exclusive to TRU ($19.99 retail for three figs < $8.99 retail for one fig) it should have been LEAST likely to have the tats. Why Jakks does the things that they do... The world may never know.

Yeah Jakks can be really strange when it comes to tattoos. Like the early Mysterio's. The back tattoo was always different in size every other figure. And Shelton Bejamin.

hey booker also has a back tattoo if anyone has noticed you can barely see it i think it must be new but once when he was layed on the ramp as he got up his back was pointed at the camera and you got a perfect view of it i wonder if when they next make him they will put it on ;D

I think its simple really, Jakks only put their 100% on a figure when they know damn well it will sell!!!!! BookerT is really not that popular with tha kids, so that wats i think they r doing with these less popular superstars not giving a 100%!!!
