It sort of feels weird how Da's are already at series 11 and RA's at 31. But as of what I see with new DA's I wouldnt mind if they stuck around especially looking at the new Burke and MVP. But then again RA's are looking better than ever with new torsos and scan. I know its been asked a million times but how long can this go on with two lines?

yeah i'm almost debating selling all my ra's, and collecting only da's woah i wouldnt go that far. RA will always be the more accurate of the two lines. DA has so few molds, and every figure only has one scan after eleven series and multiple repaints. sure DA might 1-up RA every once in a while, and a better than RA playing-wise but RA will be what Jakks chooses if they ever have to choose (idk why they would tho)

Eventually, Jakks WILL stop producing RA figures altogether. And everyone will be forced to collect DAs or none at all. And then a new type will come out and people will complain that they dont want to stop collecting DAs and they dont like how the new line isnt compatible with the DAs. Its the natural progression of figures. It will happen. It is inevitable.

That's why. Personally I am not looking forward to the day RA's are no longer made. I'm done after that. I'm not paying more for something I don't even play with. I'm a MOC cat. So around 2011 will be it for me. Even though the world is going to end in 2010, Jakks will still be here. Hogan will own the company by then and will be the only person alive on the planet since he doesn't job to anyone so he surely won't job to the apocalypse.

I still think DAs are going to take over. Give it a few more years.
RAs have more variety because they've been around for what, 5-6 years now? I would hope they have more torsos and parts available lol. Again, DAs will get more torso and parts down the line.
Kids love DAs. I'm sorry MOC and display guys, but RAs are going to have to bite the dust sooner or later. Just like DAs are going to eventually as well. You can't honestly expect an archaic looking figure line like RA to stick around while all these other boy toys are improving -- esp. the TNA and Marvel lines.
It's fine if CS stays in RA form, but everything else should make the transition over to DA. Start collecting them now if you hate DAs lol -- by the time RA cuts off you'll have a decent amount to start over with.
lol

I use to hate DA's but around series 7 Jakks has done a fantastic job on them except for DA 10 of course. I'm really looking forward to MVP and Burke.

I remember 70% of the people on this board refused to accept DA figures and knew there was no way they would make it since they were just "too flimsy and inaccurate." Guess those views have changed?

Well they sure are speeding up the pace compared to RA's but the lines wont end anytime soon. They are arguably at their peak.

Time sure flies. It seems like yesterday when the first series was released. I would collect more of them but $15.92 plus tax for one figure is too much money. Most of the DA figures I buy are usually for the accessory but there are some good ones.
