Its funny how people complain about the lack of torsos.
The singlet torso/wifebeater didnt debut for RA until series 6 and the Mr. Perfect Torso was made more than 15 lines later
DA had the singlet torso in the very first series and another one wqas made in DA 5 (RVD)
Without a doubt DA is progressing much faster than RA.

da's are ok, but i still prefer ra's by far. i'm sure that someday ra's will be phased out, but probably not for awhile. ra's still sell very well, and as long as both lines continue to sell jakks will keep making them, cuz...why wouldn't they? it makes sense to.

DA's are good but they need to be the same size as ra's

woah i wouldnt go that far. RA will always be the more accurate of the two lines. DA has so few molds, and every figure only has one scan after eleven series and multiple repaints. sure DA might 1-up RA every once in a while, and a better than RA playing-wise but RA will be what Jakks chooses if they ever have to choose (idk why they would tho) I hope you dont really believe that. Eventually, Jakks WILL stop producing RA figures altogether. And everyone will be forced to collect DAs or none at all. And then a new type will come out and people will complain that they dont want to stop collecting DAs and they dont like how the new line isnt compatible with the DAs. Its the natural progression of figures. It will happen. It is inevitable. DAs are never going to take over RAs. If they were gonna, it would have happened already. |

I couldn't be happier. DA's got me back into Jakks collecting, and I've loved every DA fig I've ever purchased.

I'm considering selling off my DA collection. I bought the first couple DA lines and CS DA but I just don't like them. The older ones are very flimsy.
I think RAs look way better and I hope that they both continue instead of just DA taking over. DA's are too pricey and the accessories are the poops.
