Well I'm watching SmackDown! and it's kind of boring right now so I decided to make this post. Anyway, I was thinking if Jakks lost the rights to make WWE figures and they were passed on to Hasbro, do you think that CM Punk's Cobra tattoo could be put on his figure completely and accurately? I just figured that it would since Hasbro owns the rights to G.I. Joe and Cobra I figured that maybe if they ever started making WWE figures CM Punk could get an accurate Cobra tattoo put on his figure without anyone worrying about copyright infringement. Oh well, just a funny little random thought I had, feel free to discuss it.

Yea, they probably could do that. Then all we'd need is for Pepsi to buy out Hasbro.

Jakks could do it if they wanted. They actually did do it and just put it in a different place on his arm.
As if Pepsi are gonna come screaming "OMG GET DAT OFF UR FIGS LOL"
They wouldnt give a sh*t. if anything, its advertising them.
BUY PEPSI

i doubt pepsi or the guys behind g i joe would care if the tattoos were on the figure. Like mentioned above, it's only advertising their products.

BUY PEPSII agree with you about that, but Hasbro would probably be pissed about the Cobra tattoo because they're a competing toy company.

If Jakks really can't do the Pepsi tattoo then I have no idea why they don't just reverse the colors.
Stupid Jakks...

but what do Hasbro have to do with it?
Its not their logo, nor are they paying to have exclusive rights to it.
although if Jakks did have to pay money to get the rights to have the Pepsico loso exclusive to them, i can assure you, they'd milk it for all its worth.
It'd get its own line.. Pepsi Aggression or something..

Joe, therefore the Cobra logo is their trademark, my point is that since Hasbro owns the Cobra logo I figured that if Hasbro ever gained the rights to make WWE figures they could put a completly accurate Cobra tattoo for Punk, and like I said before they did make a special edition Pepsi Optimus Prime so who knows they might even be able to give him an accurate Pepsi tattoo too.

Idk about that, but when it comes to tattoo's on figures, I find it strange that we can't have a Tasmanian Devil tattoo on a Tazz figure, yet there is a rather large one on Trevor Murdoch...

Jakks should have had a go at putting the tattoo on. Knowing them it would be stuffed up and wouldnt look like the pepsi tattoo anyway.
