i have no idea but i would think more than 3000. Argos is a nationwide store in the UK, they have over 680 stores according to wikipedia. And Hogan/Andre are pretty popular.
3000 packs divided by 680 equals around 4 per store. no way. it's definetely more.

Argos are still full of those sets now and it has spread over three catalogues. I would say much more than 3000. Same for the Bulldog/Regal exclusive.

i still need the regal/bulldog. Set is really pricey though on ebay/ringside. Is it really that expensive for the set in the UK? I can see paying a bit more to get it to the US. I got my hogan/andre for 45 shipped off ebay i thought that was a fair price.

What you've got to remember is we pay about double what people in the US do, so Hogan/Andre cost £15 in argos which is about $30 at retail |

I thought all the CS 2 and 3 packs were limited to 10,000? That would seem about right. If anyone needs a Hogan/Andre set, I've got a few for sale or trade so PM me if you want one.

Especially for collectors that don't live in the UK; they may be inclined to want to spend more than its worth because of difficulty finding the sets elsewhere. |
